A sneak peak

The main reason of me choosing this course is because of the vast job oppertunity post Graduation. The curriculum is sufficient enough to preparus for the future needs of the real life application side. There re mainly 3 exams, mid -yearly, pre-professional, and professional exam each year. Other than that regular tests on smaller topics are also taken by different teachers based on the need.

My course has an internship program within the curriculum. So it's mandatory for us to do it. We get a stipend of Rs13,125 per month for the internship which is enough to sustain us though the month. Since our college is a part of a central tertiary hospital, we don't have to go anywhere else for the internship. We do our internship within our hospital

In AIIMS Raipur, the tuition fees is taken at the beginning of the tenure of the course, which is roughly 4000 for Bsc. Hons nursing. Other than that, there's no fees per say for hostel etc. But mess fees is to be given per month according to the price set by the vendor, (eg. In AIIMS Raipur, its 4000 per month) Other than that, the college also gives a stipend of rs500/- per month during the course and during internship you get Rs. 13125 per month for 6 months. Your books and stationery are to be bought by yourself. If you are belonging to any SC or ST category, then you are eligible for any scholarship by the central government.

The best part of the college life is the campus part. It's big, it has a football/cricket ground, basketball ground, vollyball ground, a gym, badminton court, and everything. The mess is fabulous, the Library is phenomenal, the yearly fest is mind blowing (last year, Sunidhi Chauhan came to our fest, this year, Md. Irfaan, Amit Trivedi came..) If i had to use one word for my campus life, it'd be "blissful"

I applied to AIIMS Raipur, and AIIMS Bhubaneswar. Now based on my ranking in the entrance exams, i was short by 2 ranks fkr AIIMS Bhubaneswar. So I got my seat in AIIMS Raipur. The admission process involves an entrance exam, followed by a seat allotment. There are totl 3 rounds of seat allotment. The admission experience of my college also includes a medical examination to see our health conditions.

The faculty is adequately experienced and have vast knowledge in their respective fields. They not only teach about theory, but alse guide us in our clinical aspect. They also guide us through our research project. Most of the teachers are present whenever we need them. There are now more than 40 teachers in this college

Our college has strict rules for hostel timings. The roads inside the campus are very safe, there are CCTV camera everywhere, security guards everywhere.... There's a Nescafe outlet on the campus, that is a good hangout place. There is a small area behind the auditorium of our college, that's my favourite area to hang out, its quiet, its peaceful and people are scared to go there because of "one" snake sighting.. ????
