Remarks

The college (management) is biased when it comes to christian and other religions for scholarships and getting other permissions but in academics it is very strict lot of pressure from the management regarding dressing and punctualit tust me its fun to st

Course Curriculum Overview

4

B A Mass Communication is a creatively demanding course which is spread over a period of three years and six semesters. Each semester has a specially designed syllabus by subject matter experts.

Internships Opportunities

An internship is necessary as a part of the curriculum expecting a stipend from the internship is very unrealistic as there are a lot of students seeking internships from the existing media barrens.

Placement Experience

4

It is more so to do with personal talent if you have the zeal and creativity then you can bag an opportunity many companies visit the campus for placing students and hence everyone can make use of the opportunity.

College Events

4

Plenty of events are organised in the college starting from events like Lenscape and Infocus organised by the mass communication department to college events like resonance all the events are well organised they provide a lot of exposure.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees was decent when i was studying but now there is a hike in fee structure and can be categorized into expensive each year has a fee structure of 60,000-70,000 and this can be paid in two installments.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarships for other religions than christians and also there are loans given by nationalized banks for some particular courses.

Campus Life

3.5

As far as i was there in the campus its good and there is scope to be a productive person if one has interest in that particular field library is huge with excellent collection, and also lot of scope for sports.

Hostel Facilities

2

College hostel is very bad its more like a dorm than a college hostel you can find private hostels around the academy at a cheaper price say around 3000 per room double bedrooms costs 6000-7000 which can be shared by 2-4 people the food is equally bad as

Alumni/Alumna

Most of the seniors are well settled and also have good reputation in their respective field one can easily get access to meet their seniors during annual alumni meet which usually happens during november-december.

Exam Structure

Each year is divided into two semesters and the exams are pretty chilled out each semester has two internals and one external exam.

Faculty

3

During my time the lecturers were moderately knowledgeable this is one aspect the department can improve in as it reuquires better teaching faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main reason why I chose this course for my graduation I.e. BA ( Bachelor of Arts) is because I love doing Arts and I'm little dumb at studying lengthy topics and theories. I'm also a good artist as well doing paintings and drawings from my school life to now. My arts influenced me to choose this course and stick with it as I love Arts and Socialize the outer world. Journalism brought me intrest as it is a socialist job to do and has to be an extrovert for that so I just needed to be. Coming to improvement the faculty need to improve some teaching by giving more practicals and projects to students as it impacts what the student has acknowledged in the course and classes. Weekly they conduct exams which is good but instead they can give projects which relates to the course we are doing and students should feel more interested in it and do it intresting.
