Course Curriculum Overview

3

Due to more possibilities of job in tech fields , i chose CSE . The curriculum is okay , but still there are some subjects and topics which are outdated . Frequency of exam is high. There are 2 mid terms and 1 end sem exam in just 4 to 5 months of semester. For which you get only 4 months to study .

Placement Experience

3

After 6 semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies come in our college Like TCS,wipro ,byjus , adani , herald . Some of the students go for masters. And some got off campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are two types of seats in our college , one is GAS and other is SFS , some branches like ECC , IT and AIDS have SFS seats which have more fees (i.e, 80,000 annual ) My Branch is CSE and which is a GAS seat have annual fees 38,400 /- In first semester you have to pay caution fees which is 7500 /- and enrollment fees which is 500 /- And there are no particular scholarships offered by college but there is alumni association which provide scholarship here . In first year I also got 10,000 in scholarship

Campus Life

3

Yes there is one cultural festival occurs annually but from 2 years it didn't occur , Encarta a tech fest organized by Cse department of our college . The class facilities are poor , Ac's are not working , there are no fans somewhere, Sports and extra curricular activities happens over wide range There are total 14 clubs apart from sports And cricket, football, basketball ,volleyball, and badminton are the major sports both for boys and girls .

Admission

I heard that my college is the top rajasthan engineering college . And it has highest cutoff ratio in reap . Average jee percentile to get CSE is 96 %ile In reap my first choice is MBM , which i got in 2nd round . The admission in our college is done through reap counselling . Where jee percentile and 12th board percentage matters But jee has more weight over boards

Faculty

2

The faculty to student ratio is less , that's why college seek for guest faculties . The relation of student with faculty is also not well , they only see us as machines no understandings , but some professors have nice behavior to us , Department of computer science have best faculties and other departments have also good faculties but they are much more strict than usual . Exams are not hard if you are studying before even 15 days of exams .but the curriculum is very old , there is strong need of update in it

Night Life

4

There's no gym , there is a library which have tables old styles tablea and chairs , but there are many books in library . Our college timing is from 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. There's no hangout place in college but outside there are many things in jodhpur to visit like mehrangarh, rao jodha , Masuriya hills ,kaylana lake etc .

Other Applied Colleges

MBM Engineering College - [MBM] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Poor infrastructure , Classes don't occur regularly , proffesor only make sure that our file work and assignments are completed or not , no creative things to learn

Students become eligible for summer internship (after 3rd year) from start of 3rd year (5th sem) and for the placements, companies come to the college from 7th semester onwards. Companies like jo Morgan, Deloitte, Flipkart, goldman sachs , PepsiCo ,oracle, bny ,ubs , rippling etc come here for placements, some of them come for 2months and 6months internship too. Average package offered by them is 9-10 lpa , jpmc , Goldman, visa they offer till 12 lpa and it can go up for some of the companies . Most of the companies allow to sit for 6.5cgpa and above but some of them allows 7.5 and above cgpa and jpmc allows 8.5cgpa and plus as far I know till now . I am currently looking forward to work in a company and get a placement.

Birla Institute of Technology - [BIT], Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electronics & Communication Engineering)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is vast and allows a student to explore all the possible options to take before deciding on one . The field of elctronics and communication engineering allows one to deal with electronics and learn all the possible tinkering with them which is a very fascinating part as all the gadgets possible today were made of them. The curriculum does satisfy this thirst by teaching about them in the class of electronics and electricals and then experimenting in the lab with them . The areas for improvement could be that if a student is interested in a specific field then should be allowed to venture that field throughly instead of sitting in every class , but that is an imrovement for the indian education system as as whole . The classes of every subject does occur frequently and and exams take place every month in a form of quiz or proper pen based exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I like computer science and I can see my future in this course. The current ratio in computer science courses is around 1:5. And we don't have technical communication teaching at present and the college is saying that they will recruit teachers as soon as possible. The student-teacher ratio in all the branches is around 1:3. All facilities are well qualified and teach well but they are not permanent and hence they may or may not be changed next year. There are two semesters in each year and an examination is conducted after each semester. The difficulty level of these exams ranges from moderate to difficult.
