College for Telecom Engineers

Overall experience with college was good, it helped a lot in developing my communications skills which coming quite a handy now in careers.

I took IIT, AIEEE, VIT and MPPET, I scored below cutoff marks in IIT JEE and for MPPET I crossed cutoff but didnt get a good college, I was looking for top 100 engg. college and got the name of Amity which was ranked 44th(not sure amity was among top 50's) . I asked my sister who is based on Delhi to inquire and later she also joined Amity in different department for computer science . I joined this college after being shortlisted in a personal interview, since the placement records were good and the college was comparatively cheaper in terms of college fees. I decided to join this college

Yes, We have a dedicated cell known as Industrial Interaction cell (IIC), if someone cannot arrange an internship for him\herself IIC has to find one for them. I didn't get any stipend but yes I did my internship from BSNL training center Jabalpur.

I just have one word for Placements Awesome. Nearly 90% of student were placed from my batch entire University. and out of 180, 160 were placed, Companies like WIPRO, Cognizant, Head Strong, Yatra, Micrososft, IGate, HCL etc are among the top recruiters.

We have annual sports event called Sanghatan, which we organize in respect to the founder of our college, then we have cultural events and fest later lined up in the month of Jan to March . Being a hosteler we have various inter hostel sport and cultural competition and Hostel also organizes to celebrate festivals like holi Janamasthmi etc.

Fee structure was affordable when was studying now it has been increased alot . I joined the with annual fees of 1,20,000 . and there were 180 students in my batch 60 in each section . after the hike we saw the reduce number of student 60 in the next batch . Also hostels are good but quite heavy on our pocket we paid 54000 per year, Not sure what is the fee structure now. Its was feasible during my time as College campus is huge lot of things for recreation etc.

The scholarship program is like if you have scored 90% in CBSE or ICSC you get 100% scholarship which will continue if you are the topper in academics all throughout 4 years.And it will discontinue if you came on scholarship and are not among th toppers . Not sure about the loan.

Amity we have quite a diverse crowd, gender ratio is nearly equal and we have people from all throughout INDIA as well some foreigners as students between us.sports facilites are amazing 1 Football field, Swimming pool,shooting range, basketball court, 2 badmitton cours squash, synthetic lawn tennis . We have term paper and mini project where we get a chance to explore our technical sides.

The hostels are good, in terms of hygiene and discipline separate hostels for Junior and seniors . Laundry is available which is included in hostel fee and TT, Pool, and badmitton courts for recreation . Food is good in mess and comes at very subsidized c

Yes all my senior are well settled few in INDIA and few in rest part of the world. there guidance was very helpful during my graduation. Also I meet alot of people who are recently hired by WIPRO and they are amazing at both technical and communication skills.

The scheduled in such a way that most of the theory classes are conducted in the morning and Labs in 2nd half to get the most of student time (when everyone feels sleepy and doesn't like theory in 2nd half).Exams are fair and Good the paper are set to to
