Course Curriculum Overview

As this is a Govt institute it comes under BIJU PATNAIK UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, ODISHA AS I am pursuing my b tech in mechanical engineering its course curriculum is equal to AICTE, INDIA. AS Per AICTE, There are 8 semesters in 4 years, 16 internals, labs, vivas, surprise tests, assignments, etc. All are supervised by BPUT Itself.

Placement Experience

As this college situated 10 years ago. Scenerio of placement is not good enough. But the college is trying its level best to call companies. It also provides internships in IITS, HAL INDIA, DRDO INDIA, ISRO. and many MNC S.

College Events

There are different events are celebrated in our college. For the freshers, there is an induction program for 21days is carried out. Our Annual sports Annual technical fest Annual cultural fest in which star nights are organized.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As its Govt institution fee structure is quite low. It's affordable for a medium class family like us. Other hand college is providing different types of scholarships which are being provided by Govt of Odisha based on merit.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college is providing scholarships for meritorious students. There are scholarships known as prerana under which the students belonging to sc & St category are getting the scholarships. For the general category student, there is e medhabruti, NSP AND MANY MORE.

Campus Life

As world Bank is funding to our college its labs are well equipped, all the machinery in the lab are in functional. All the practicals are carried out carefully in the lab. There are different clubs like dance, acting, robotics, startup cell, innovation sell in our college, and they are achieving success day by day.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network in our college is not strong enough as it is a new college, but most of the seniors who completed their carrier here are working in various MNCs, They come to college for Ted talks, seminars. They also help us a lot in our carrier counseling.

As it is a Govt institute all the faculty member are well qualified and experienced, even most of them are alumni of Different IITS & NITS. After then World Bank-funded Tequip 3 appointed faculties from different part of country & outside also are taking our classes eminently.

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. The timings for sem exams are 3 hours while for quiz tests its 30 minutes. The difficulty level is average of all the exams

Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang. It is a better place than what I have explored in this four year of my study. The faculties of civil engineering are very good. I opt for civil in this college because of the infrastructure that is better than the other colleges. The admission here is very simple. You have to submit the documents that you had uploaded at the time of counseling. The additional factor is that the aspiring candidate must have passed 12th grade and have appeared in JEE Main exam or OJEE Exam. After this the next process involves applying for counseling of OJEE. No I don't apply any other colleges my first preference is this college which I got admission. I choose this college because it's nearby my home town and the low price of fees structure.
