Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is fun and ideas generating. A study tour trip out of city is organised each year for understanding and grasping architecture of those places physically. The study tour concludes by the class making a study tour report which showcases the concluded study of the place visited.

Fees and Financial Aid

1,65,000 per year is the tuition fees for the course. Scholarships are to Muslim minority and financially weaker people. I pay the complete fee. So it has to be done in 3 installments. And if someone has a scholarship half of their fees is returned to them.

Campus Life

1

The college organises Maidan-E-Jung which is a huge event of sports where our college invites other colleges for sports competition. Besides this small cultural day is organised which consists of few dance and singing performances and dinner.

Admission

I wanted to apply to MMCOA and even got on the list because of my entrance exam marks, but they wanted me to come sign and take admission within 2 days which wasn't applicable as I was out of city. So later I had no option but take the present college I'm in as it the one that's nearby my house

Faculty

3

The faculty is well trained and updated knowledge keeping. But they are biased to certain students in all classes. We have some guest faculties too which come to teach certain subjects once in a week.

Night Life

1

So the official college timings are 8 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon. But if students wish to sit in class and work they can do it till 5 in the evening. Library's timing is from 9 in the morning to 4:45 in the evening. Library is a great space for reference of new books. The cafeteria is small and unhygienic and there is no gym for the college. There is no as such of a night life in college. But as the college is in camp area it is pretty safe.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the architectural course because I love designing buildings. The teachers were good, and there weren't too many students in each class. They knew a lot about architecture and taught us in different ways, like drawing and going to see real buildings. The exams were fair and not too hard, but you had to study. Overall, I liked the course and learned a lot about architecture.
