Likes
- The professors here are quite friendly and cooperative for the students. They are a type of mentors to the students as they are friendly in a professional manner.
- The campus here is good. The canteen has been renovated and made into a cafe type vibes which i would overall give a 9/10 for cleanliness and management
- The classrooms are quite big. Even the computers present here are of latest type and has been maintained properly for usage
Dislikes
- The management comitee still needs to work on their part overall they are quite good but somewhere there mess up things.
- Some of the teachers had left their places in between the semester and we still hadnt quite figured out why
- Still isnt fully developed some places have yet to be built idk why it is taking so much of time to built things
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is mainly based on mumbai universities curriculum as they have been affiliated by the university of mumbai. I could say that the curriculum is quite practical as it makes us ready for practical life like we have subjects related to property rights even tho we are computer major students. The subject also help us to maintain our rights to our property which i would say is quite important for us as we could issue a software or so. And the teachers are also on point with syllabus and make sures every one are ready for it
Placement Experience
Well as per our seniors and professors recruiters often visit our college to give placements. There are some big companies too who send their recruiters here. My professor had told me they once got a package for a student for 7,00,000 inr which i think is too much exaggerated but still you could get a placement of 1,00,000-2,00,000 here as a fresher.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee structure for the course is 40,000 inr per year, amounting to 1,20,000 inr for a 3 year program. Scholarships are available based om academic performance as mentioned by our professors at the university. Additionally as per our professors we can get upto 7,00,000 inr packages from our university if we can get a good CGPA
Campus Life
The campus life i have not lived that much but there are quite a lot of fest that goes like freshers then some other ones. And for sports there are competitions done for a lot games like cricket football and badminton there is also a place for volleyball to play in our campus overall i coulf say there are many social groups and activities for students to be entertained throughout the semester.
Admission
Well i had originally planned to go at THAKUR COLLEGE (Kandivali) , the seats were full and the only way to get in was to give donations so i started looking for alternatives and found out about LR TIWARI it is a pretty underrated college but it does not take donations at all and the fee structure was also fabulous. The admission procedure was simple you get in by having your name in the list and if you couldnt make it and they still have seats then they wold let you in. Which i think is great rather than taking donations
Faculty
The faculty are quite helpful in regard of their relationship with students as they work as their mentors where as management faculty needs to work on their part and not mess up things. The best faculty i could say is computer one. There are two semesters in a yesr with two main exams for it. Whereas routine tests and internals are taken for consideration of the students
Night Life
Well i cannot say the area at night is quite safe like there is no facility of hostels in our university but at night the university is shut so there isn't any night life in the campus plus there is always guards on duty around the campus just to make sure no one goes in and makes sures no one is trapped inside.
