Mata Jijabai Government P.G. Girls College Indore (M.P.)

The specific aspects of this curriculum which influenced my decision to choose this course is my passion for Economics and its easiness. The curriculum really prepares me for the real world application or further pursuits. The teaching methods can be improved using Smart boarsds and presentation.

The fees I paid in first year of college was around 5000 along with exam fees. The fees I paid this year was 4000 excluding exam fee. Scholarships programmes are available for the students of SC and ST.

The annual festivals held in my college are fairwells and freshers. Some departments also held their own programmes and competitions from time to time. All the books are available in hindi medium only but few of the books are in english medium

I applied for Atal Bihari Vajpayee college Indore and I got confirmation from there as well. But I chose this college because it was an all girls college and completely suitable for my kind of environment. admission process of my college is that when approval is given by college one can easily start attending college and pay the remaining fee later in the year.

The faculty to student ratio is really poor. Faculty is very less as compared to students. However few faculties are really sweet to students. In my two year college, few of the faculties I liked are Usha Kumuth Mam(Microeconomics), Jyoti Sharma Mam(Indian Economy), Samriddhi Singh Mam(Constitution) and Anita Chauhan Mam(Macroeconomics). I didn't liked Vandana Mam (Poetry) because of her arrogance towards students. There is only one exam in a year and 4 internal assessments. One viva for Major and one viva for Vocational. Many students get supplementary and fails in yearly exams.

The closing time of cafeterias and library is just the same as closing time of college that is 5 o'clock in the evening. I don't know muc about that hostel timings as I don't live in the hostel. Famous hangouts around my college are lal bagh palace, rajwada market and maa vaishno dham mandir
