Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is upto the industry standards and it is highly recognised by the MNCs it is bothe practical and theoretical. It creates a strong base for further academic pursuits and real world application by enhancing the problem solving ability and deep understanding of the concepts. The curriculum is well designed but need to have better practical applications in it. The exam are conducted at completion of each semester and the timing is 2 hours and the difficulty is moderate as there is only 5 modules for 60 marks
Internships Opportunities
The companies were local i.e based in ballari and surrounding cities. They were justout fashions, Deepak stores etc The role performed by interns were assistant supervisor and the stipend was around 3000 for a month. The projects were to analyse the day to day operations in a business and prepare a detailed report on the functionality of the business and its competitors. The outcome of it was to develop the understanding of how business works and sustains in the market
Placement Experience
Yes there are campus placements conducted with companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, idfc first bank etc. the students are eligible for placements after completion of 4 th sem. The highest package was of 10 lpa from byjus and lowest was from TCS for 1.8 lpa. Around 200 offers are made each year.. Around 50% of students get placed. After completion of my graduation I'm planning to pursue cfa
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly tution fees for bba is 37000 and if have completed your prediction university from bpsc pu college then you recieve 5000 rs of concession every year. Along with above tution fees there is sem registration fees, university fees, noc fees which sums up around 2500. The tution fees for BCA is 42000 and b.co is 32000 rs respectively. Merit scholarships are available from 3 Rd sem i.e if your sgpa is between 8.5 and 9.0 then you recieve 2000 rs as merit scholarship and if your sgpa is higher than 9.0 then you recieve 5000 as merit scholarship
Campus Life
There are annual events held at college such as freshers, farewell, ethnic day, sports meet. Freshers are held in June, farewell in March, ethnic day in January and sports meet in July. The college library is well equipped with relevant books and journals along with novels, biographies, literary works. They also have digital library. There are various sports tournaments which the college students take part in like inter college tournaments, intra college tournaments, university tournaments, zonal tournaments. There are various clubs run by different students and teachers such as marketing,hr, finance, tech, tax, accounting, literature clubs
Admission
I wanted to join iim Indore for integrated mba but I was financially incapable for the academic fee of iim Indore and that's the reason I didn't try to apply for other colleges which are out of ballari. To get admission in ballari business college there is no eligibility criteria you can just directly get into the course by paying admission fees of 5000 it was a hassle free process
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is around 40 and they are overall the best you can get in ballari. The best faculties are asst.prof pearl sahana Mitra, meghana setru, nuzhath farheen, shyamala, sneha, Uday Kiran, ramchandra. They all are well experienced and are updated with the new syllabus. The faculties are very engaging and energetic everyone enjoy their lectures. There are some lecturers who aren't capable of handling the students and are least interested to teach and make the concepts clear for the students. The exams are conducted in each sem at the college with 60 marks for externals and 40 marks for internals. The course curriculum is upto the standards of nep and the exams are relevantly easy and around 20% of students fail in the exam
Night Life
There are no cafeterias, gyms or any place to hangout after college. The college only has library. Yeah the locality is a very busy area and is very safe at night too. The college timings are 9.15 am to 1.45 pm. After college you can hangout at various spots which are outside the college. The after college experience was not hat great
