Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in electronics and computer science so I applied for both and got electronics according to the rank of my jee score card. We learn about things that are having real time examples in our subjects like signals and system. I'm an average student so according to me the teaching should be from basics as every student will understand it properly. For internals we get 1 hour of time , it's of 15 marks and 30 total as we appear 2 internals before a semester .
Internships Opportunities
I did my 3rd year internship off campus at another place but our college does provide internships. For our branch a VLSI internship is held and also embedded system. Don't know about stipen. I did my project on AIML on face detection.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS,Accenture, etc have visited our college in campus placement. Highest package for my branch(ETC) was somewhere 7-8 lakhs per anum. Around 60% students get placements. I'll try for college campus placement selection otherwise I'll try for off campus interviews.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fee is 27,500 fee was taken around 1500 for every semesters and for backlog and re exam other fee was taken Govt scholarship are available like post metric and medhabruti, the post metric is 20k per year and for medhabruti it's 40k total for graduation
Campus Life
The names of the annual and technical festivals are Exumberence that is the annual fest or grand fest, and we also conduct branch fests and exordium and code fests etc. College conducts 'Shaurya ' that is the annual sports meet.
Admission
I applied in CET bbsr, VSSUT burla, and PMEC brahmapur. I got a selection for electrical course according to my rank in CET bbsr, but I wanted electronics and telecommunication and got it in PMEC brahmapur so I chose PMEC. I didn't got selected in VSSUT as my rank was not enough.
Faculty
Every branch has atleast 10-15 faculty and they are available for the students. Raghunandan sir is one of our faculties who really push students to do better and path us towards the things needed and important after college mainly about job. There are 2 internal exams held before a semester exam and lab exams are also done. Internals are tough but students from my class tend to clear it.
Night Life
Gym construction is on going and cafeteria facility is really good as there is a canteen and also many icecream parlors grocery stores book stores and required things for the students inside the campus. Hostel timings for girls is 6pm and I don't know about boys. Campus closing time is not accurate every time cause we all get late for some or other work but mostly at around 8-9 it's closed I guess... I don't know as I'm a local I'm not a hosteler actually. Unfortunately the locality is not at all safe outside the campus as it's the main road and mostly trucks and lorry used to run which is not safe.
