Course Curriculum Overview

4

So i had interest in computer from childhood. I love programming so in this course, we get to learn programming languages like C, Java, Data structure and algorithm, PHP, SQL etc. Our college has lab where we practice these language and make projects which eventually gonna make us prepared for real world. Session gets held from movitational speaker for AI, data science and other important things. College should provide small internship for our experience and some industry visit for in hand experience. Class tests are held but at last semester wise exams are conducted.

Internships Opportunities

3

As of now. I have got only one company who offered internship that too for BCA course. It had offered for 6 month and stipend was 15k. BCA includes same DSA etc for projects building. After that communication skill is highly recommend as candidate has suffered most from them.

Placement Experience

2

Course is of 6 semesters. From semester 5 we get projects to complete and should prepare mock interviews. After that companies get visit to college for in campus placement. TCS, HDFC bank visited and offered 3lpa for students if selected. Highest package was 5lpa. Percentage is very low. Like 1 in 10 gets placed. If i don't get placement i will do masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

If i talk about my fee structure so far. I am in second year and i had to pay one time payment fee which was 45090 for first year and 43000 for second year including tuition, registration all fees. My friends who arr from sc st category had to pay 35000 and they got scholarship for that also.

Campus Life

3

Overall experience is good so far. We have cultural department in our college which organize various sports, dance, singing, and lot more activities. Cultural department is very good. 2-3 events takes place every month. Library is good providing various books on your course. Sports has chess, cricket, football, badminton etc. Extracurricular includes pot paint, rangoli, mehndi etc. Student forum is there where students can go study.

Hostel Facilities

3

As i am not into hostels or rented accommodation but i have friends who are living in hostels and PG. Rent is too high if you are living near college area. One bed and table gets provided. In some PG food is included some don't.

Admission

I had applied to two colleges that were fergusson and Nowrosjee Wadia college where i didn't got admission so at last i applied this college and got admission for the course i was interested. My marks wasn't upto the mark so couldn't make it to that colleges. Admission is simple. Score more marks and apply for college and get admission in cutoff marks if met. According to our caste we get some relief in cutoff. Eg. For open it's 60% and sc 45%.

Faculty

3

Every college has same problem, some faculty are good but some are very rude, not cooperative. We can always get our work checked anytime anywhere. We can call our teachers for doubt. Shubhangi mam, Sandip Anpat sir are best. They are very motivational for us. They help us academically as well as mentally. Some teachers are there who always talk with rudeness. Exams are semester wise and it's not that difficult. Those who studies can easily clear it.

Interview Experience

3

As i mentioned earlier. Admission process is very simple, you score marks and apply in college for cap round if cutoff is met you get admission. If you're applying foe engineering course you have to give CET exam then apply in CAP round. Cet includes Math, Chemistry, physics. You can prepare it easily as it's includes state board syllabus.

placements can happen in any semester starting from 2nd semester, it completely depends on the companies which come to the campus for cadets. 95% of the cadets get placed at the end of their course. teh packages vary from 300000 to 1200000 per year. note that this is the stipend you get while training, once this training is finished and you have al the certifications and are medically fit for sailing you get ti earn 10 times more only after 2 years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

While searching on internet I got to know about this course that's where I earned interest for this course that made choose this course. The practical knowledge shared by the faculty at their best helps for real life applications but still practical knowledge is gained beyond college course pattern which can be gain in internships. By providing more practical knowledge beyond the theory part of the course may help students greatly by learning real life experiences. Exams are usually held by morning at the college timing (9:30 am).

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. There are campus placements but my seniors are yet to get placed. Since we are secknd batch of data science we don't know much about how is the placement for data science students. There are good placements for bms students. I will be doing master after this degree and won't opt for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of the teachers who teach that. I had my siblings telling me that they love the way their teachers taught them. They make it so easy to understand and give you so much advice to grow and have great success. Also, this college is just a treasure of other curriculum activities. Once you got to know that they held those kinda functions over these years you can't resist and will participate in those functions. As it the course was difficult but teachers will make it easy they will guide you in any problem that you have and encourage you to learn more skills so you can be more successful.
