Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is entirely changed. It's aspect has drastically changed. From just rotten learning system, it has now shifted to more practical scenarios. Also, twice in a year exams are conducted prior to which mock test is conducted too

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Placement Experience

From 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Average package offered ranges near to 5 lacs per annum. Almost 50 companies came for placements 80% students get placements My plan is towards practicing firm

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid fees of Rs. 18,000/- per year The good part was fees was same for all the students. They do have financial aid scholarship for students who family's annual income is upto Rs. 3,50,000/- per annum

Campus Life

The only things students will learn after studies here is their college fests, events, functions and so on. And the most important part is that these events are kept much before the exams or after the exams so that students don't get diverted from studies toward it. Excellent sports facilities are available for students. All the classrooms are fully digitalised.

Admission

I had for my options, KP COMMERCE COLLEGE, PARUL UNIVERSITY, MARWADI UNIVERSITY, BHAGWAN MAHAVIR UNIVERSITY, AURO UNIVERSITY, AHMEDABAD University. However VEER NARMAD SOUTH GUJARAT UNIVERSITY was the best. Admission criteria is based on Class 12th marks

Faculty

There is 1 faculty for every 25 students. The main crux is that University has employed only such faculties wo have in-depth knowledge of the subject, that such professor should possess to teach the students

Our campus placements start from 4th year and like by the end of 5th year, most students are placed. Many corporate firms and with Gift City setting up most jobs were offered in the GIFT CITY. Even almost all the top law firms also have their branches in Ahmedabad and so that is where placements are done.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the major reasons why I chose this course was that this was very unique , bsc in data science along with LLB is very new in the market, although it has it's own drawbacks, in the real world, there is not much demand for technocrat lawyers right now but with time this will increase. The major improvement would be the inclusion of other fields of law like IP, arbitration etc. There are three components for exams, one is mid sems which is held in the starting two months of the semester and after two months is the end sems. The semester are pretty short which is why we get time for internships and which provides us very nice exposure for real-world.

After 4th year, students are eligible to sit for placements. Some students also receive a pre-placement offer in the 4th year itself. The students are first prepared for day zero, i.e., placement day, beforehand by conducting a mock interview, which is a voluntary session conducted by the placement committee. CV Vetting workshops are also conducted in the eighth semester because at the end of the 8th semester, the placements are made where tier-1 companies like Khaitan, AZB Partners, CAM, SAM, Trilegal, etc. In-house firms like Adani, ICICI Bank, Tata, and more come for recruiting students. Some students sit for placement; others who want to prepare for government exams like judiciary, UPSC, Public Prosecutor, etc. refrain from sitting in placements.
