Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum is really good. I personally choose this course to prepare for UPSC CSE. The arrangement of the papers along the years is impressive. Like in first year, we'll start from prehistoric periods, old stone age and all...by the final year, we'll learn about modern history of India and other countries, which is really helpful to think about how the world runs.

Placement Experience

4

Campus Placements are decent. There were some really good companies - TCS, Calvin Klein, Amazon have visited and offered 1000+ job offers to the students in my past three years. And many other small companies, startups also were there. BTW, I have other plans - UPSC after the graduation

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Since, I'm from Aided (Mrng) shift, the course fees is really affordable. For first year the total fees came around 24000 - including all. There are some scholarships available to or missionary children.

Campus Life

5

There are many clubs are there - where everyone has go be a part of something. NCC, NSS, Scrub Society, Theatre 59, other communities. Each club has its own annual cultural program. By the time of February, We have DEEPWOODS annual college cultural for three days. The library has amazing number of books, and Especially we have MCC - MRF Innovation Park in our campus which promotes innovation & entrepreneurship among the students. Sports are really good in our campus, especially football. And the best thing is sportsmen can stay in Halls(Hostels) without any fees.

Admission

Actually, I haven't applied to any other colleges. I want to study at MCC and I got that. The Admission process is seamless...starts from being selected, payment of first year Fees, certificate verification.....booom you're a fresher now!

Faculty

5

Since most of them graduated from MCC itself, they're really into our vibe. They're not strict, we can easily approach them regarding any matter at all. I personally like, Mr.Venkataramanujam, our HOD. He's a really nice guy, very approachable. Some staff(not in my dept.) because of holding other positions in college, couldn't able to take classes regularly.

The curriculum for history vocational is fully based on theory. It's better if we had field works and study tours. Most of the subject are spoon fed, everyone relies upon the last year question paper available in the library.
