Course Curriculum Overview

BDS is a dental surgeon professional degree. After this course you are officially a doctor skilled with specialization in human head and neck region abnormalities. Since i like medical sector....i chose this course and i am satisfied. The real world scenarios are quite different in Dentistry as the curriculum we study is of old fashioned as compared to the advancements in dentistry in today's time. Exams are of mild difficulty, you need 50% marks in each subject to pass the particular year and that to the exam comes once in a year...if you fail you will be allowed to write the re exam after 6 months.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 321300 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

?321300 yearly is what i pay as tution fees If you belong to ST SC OEC castes then there is no fees for you. Since i have taken admission on 2020...the course fees has been increased to ?330000. The above amount is for both general category amd OBC category

Campus Life

Our college has many fests and programs both in cultural and academic aspects. Annually programs are Arts fests, Sports competition, graduation ceremonies, interdental Atrs and sports meet...etc. Books and journals are pretty much available in the college library but the number of required book is less in number. Activities like sports and arts are really good since it has been 4 years since i am here in the college. All the fests are conducted by Students Union of our college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities for boys is really good. For girls the room space is less as compared to boys. Menu is not that good as homely food but as compared to other colleges out hostel food is good. Registration for hostel takes place through the administrative officer. Around the college there are many places fir PGs..place names Manoor, Chekanoor, Kandanagam.

Hostel Fee: INR 96000 per year

Admission

I applied for government colleges for MBBS amd BDS. But since my score was less in NEET UG i got this college as my second allotment. So i chose this college. This college has all the facilities provided. I didn't get rejected...its a selection process by the NTA..so i got allotment in this college.

Faculty

The faculties to students ratio is pretty much good. The faculties are really student friendly and also the help alot and make understand the concepts of every topic. The course structure is different for each year The curriculum is a bit old fashioned and need improvement at the University level

College is bad

Course Curriculum Overview:

No one tells you the dark side of the course or even if they do little do we understand..this course is never as expected..it requires a lot of patience,and strength to hold on yourself when the whole campus is against you and you have to work as a one man army. it's just powerpoint presentation and reading it aloud in class and it's done...it we who have to work. There are 2-3 internal exam but none of these marks are considered for the last University exam...it's all what we score for the final exam..there's another model exam then lots of small tests

My College the best college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is purely based on kuhs. The academic are finished a month before university exams . 85% attendance is maintained for exam. I choosed this course and college as my sister had passed out from this college with great score. For my MDS too i prefer this college as one of my option. Preclinical studies should be a little bit improved by showing some kind of 3D modes of teaching. Exam timing are so clear and perfect.

The course curriculum is purely based on kuhs .The syllabus is well completed before the university exams We have 3 exams in a year - first internal ,second internals, and models We should get a 50% of marks in the internals for the pass. Also 80% attendance should also be maintained

Remarks:

There are many facilities for the development of the students in our college such as the presence of conference room, mobile dental van, library, smart class and other sports and extra curricular activities. The campus is just amazing. there are several fests and cultural events being organised in the college. The campus has good and fresh environment. It has got a lot of greenery. The canteen is clean. the location of campus is safe. It is free from ragging. It is bit tough to reach college.
