Pariyaram Dental College (PDC) is one of the biggest dental colleges in Kerela. Established in 2004, this college offers Bachelors in Dental Surgery (BDS) program. Further plans are being made to include Masters level studies in the college. With the mission to improve health status of people in Kerela, the college thrives to impart quality education and hands on training to students to hone their skills and knowledge. My College through my words

Likes

Ecofriendly campus. Teaching faculties guide in all manner of academics.
Railway stations nearby Payyannur and Pazhayangadi.
Arts and Sports along with many programmes to be participated.

Dislikes

Some more building facilities.Dining canteens for students.

Admission:

After the Neet exam dreamt of MBBS seat and always prefered govt medical colleges as prior option . Being in a competative world with this much competetors i was not upto that level to grab a MBBS seat . The allotment result revealed that I could get admission in Pariyaram Dental College . Being a resident in Kannur my uncle asked to join this college.The admission to my college is via NEET exam and eligibility decided by the NTA and the govt during allotment procedures.

Campus atmosphere is good, it include amphitheatre,nucleus ,synthetic ground for mind relief

Dislikes

Toilets are not properly maintained and cleaned.
Student counselling facilities are not there

Admission:

I opted govt dental college kozhikode and kannur. I got admission in govt dental college kannur. By my rank in neet examination. I didnt get admission in kozhikode dental college because i didnt score which is required for admission there. Amiision to this college is through neet examination and its score to be entered in keam website by the why we will get admission.

There are well equipped laboratory facilities here which we can can expertise our clinical skill.

Dislikes

Lack of enough dental chairs with proper working condition.
There is no proper lift facilities and there is no ramp in college which is very difficult for the disabled persons .

Admission:

I appliedfor all government dental and medical college but due to my rank I get allotted to this college . I choose this college because of the great facilities and faculties that available here . There is also hostel facility is here . I get rejected from other mediacl college due to my low all India neet rank .here admission procedures are very simple

Admission:

This college is near to my hometown which makes it easy to travel . Also as it is in my hometown it helps in better understanding and comfort while dealing with patients. Patient exposure is high compared to other colleges .the admission process is via neet and keam ranking .

There is much more patients available than any private college

Preclinical lab facilities are not as much as required

Admission:

I have applied for government dental college Kozhikode and trivandrum. I got admission in my current college through allotment procedures. No well i didn't get rejection from any other college , here the system is to join the college you are alloted to. We have to write NEET eligibility examination and score above 600 marks.

I opted this college according to my transportation and this college almost nearer to my house only 2hr travelling is needed to me to achieve my own natives . Here ther is. No pg . So the clinical opportunities present here are good for me . And the clinical works are all done with the intern that makes us more confident and we know more about the rare cases and I can do all the rare cases and do it as apart of itselsf

Our collage provides us lockers so there is no need of taking instruments into hostel . We can put instruments in the locker safely. It will reduce load.
Our college have own lecture halls. So there is no need of depending medical lecture halls.

Dislikes

Everytime the lift under construction. It is very difficult to go up into 6th floor
When the materials over we have to buy .

Admission:

I got admission to this collage through neet entrance exam. I got admission to alapuzha dental collage by second allotment. I got admission to kannur dental college through mop up allotments. Admission procedure are same as that of other colleges.

Choosing this college was not in my bucket list .As all others do I prefer in Kerala than other states .So ofcourse I preferred here .Get in a college on your motherland is better since u r surrounded by people who love u the most

Government dental college - A brief note.

Dislikes

There isnt a new building for the college

Admission:

The admission is completely merit based and is done by cee Kerala across all colleges. This is a government college and out of 9 in Kerala ,here the travel , accomodation etc are better . The faculties and colleagues are also well supportive in nature . This place is also very adjacent locality to my home ,which was also a factor in selection . The admission was based on neet ranking and adjacent Kerala rank.This goes through allotments.

The infrastructure of the college is so old that a lot of improvement is needed

Admission:

So the admission process takes place by the all India NEET competitive exam and you have to make sure a rank of around 25000 or above to get the admission. If state rank is listed you have to be under 5000 rank. It is a bit difficult but the higher your rank you will get a better college. When the government opens the portal you have to apply for the course and they will alot the college for your corresponding rank.
