Remarks

The campus is just amazing. there are several fests and cultural events being organised in the college. The campus has good and fresh environment. It has got a lot of greenery. The canteen is clean. the location of campus is safe. It is free from ragging. It is bit tough to reach college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It has 5 and a half years in total. My college comes under the KHAS University. The curriculum is pretty hectic. You must definitely pass in all subjects. You have different departments and different practical labs. Prosthodontics department helps you make denture. Orthodontics for Ortho treatment. You must be up to date with the lab portions or you will get lagged behind. But otherwise, you can go easy on this.

Placement Experience

3

Once you reach the final year, you are officially an intern. You get pretty decent stipend as you are in a government college. It varies each year. On an average, you get 25000 a month. And after that, there is another entrance exam to get in for MDS. In MDS, you specialize in any one subject.

College Events

4

We celebrate all kinds of festivals here and it is really grand. The students put in a great effort to take out their best in them and showcase their skills. Our Union calls famous celebritiesfor each big event they host which attract more crowd popularity

Fee Structure And Facilities

My fees is not so high as compared to other colleges. The college also provides scholarships on various criteria. I feel like I am getting my money's worth as the quality of education they are providing is excellent quality. The hostel is somewhat good. There are several restrictions inside hostel. They also given extra scholarships to top 3 students of a batch.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are offered for students with reservation like OBC's, SC, ST and other backward castes. Loans and scholarships are available for students. Since I am in the general merit category, I can't avail all these.

Campus Life

2.5

Sports Complex is shared over an area of 36, 000 sq. mtrs. With facilities for Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis and Cricket at the same time in different venues. An Athletic Track of 8 lines is also available for students. The complex is located near the hostels and staff quarters. The second phase of the complex that includes pavilions with seating facilities, swimming pool, gymnasium etc. will be completed in a phased manner.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel rooms are not luxurious, just okay. You learn adjustment here. The food quality is also okay-ish. You have all the basic amenities here. The PG's have a separate hostel. Rent goes from 32000 a year but the mess fee is separate.

Alumni/Alumna

The college seniors are extremely helpful and supportive to their juniors. When they graduate, we have scopes for working with them in their own dental clinic if you are friendly with your seniors. It depends on your social skills. The more seniors you become friends with, the better.

Admission

I wrote the NEET entrance examination. I wanted a seat for MBBS actually but due to the huge competition, I got a seat for BDS here. I got in thourough the second allotment process. After providing them all the forms and meeting with the respective authorities, I got admission in this college. As I got in here, I realized there is some form of art in each course. I became aware about the different opportunities to specialize in the future. I'm satisfied with my life here.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college is pretty good. It depends on different departments. In some departments, teachers are pretty strict while there are teachers in other departments who takes time to teach each and everything so that everyone understands the topic easily. Overall, the college is known for the faculty here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We can be the reason for someone's confident smile is the reason for my decision to choose this course. Prosthodontology is the specific aspect of this curriculum that influenced me. If the student go strict to the curriculum that will definitely reflect in the real world. this makes the student more confident in the career. The available teaching methods are good enough. As i mentioned each level has its own toughness. if we stick on to the curriculum, and the path paved by the facilities the difficulty level will be much lower

No one tells you the dark side of the course or even if they do little do we understand..this course is never as expected..it requires a lot of patience, and strength to hold on yourself when the whole campus is against you and you have to work as a one man army. it's just powerpoint presentation and reading it aloud in class and it's done...it we who have to work. There are 2-3 internal exam but none of these marks are considered for the last University exam...it's all what we score for the final exam..there's another model exam then lots of small tests
