Decide the best do the best

Curriculum is decided by the faculty but not by students in our college. Students will get a book according to their department. In that book they provide which subject they are going to be held in the year itself. They follow with that book. In our first year for first semester we have 4 sets but later it became 1 set. The exams will be conducted day by day. The semester will conduct from morning 10 am to afternoon 12 am. We generally have 2 mid exams ,internals, semester and externals.

There is a training and placement cell in our college . The placement training will be held in the name of CRT which is called college recruitment training. Companies which visit for our college are Accenture, TCS , IBM , Infosys. The average package is around 4.5 LPA.

On my joining period the college fees was 41,600 and it was under the JNTU -GV but from 2023 it became autonomous and increased college fees. Every year we need to pay building fund,in 1 year it is around 9,500 and will it get reduced year by year. Building fund includes every charges like library, labs etc. There no reimbursement in the building fund. For eligible candidates government will give reimbursement in college fees. For SC/ST students along with state government the central government will also provide reimbursement. Day scholars who are using college bus facility are supposed to pay bus fees. Fees will be according to the distance.

In my college there are many clubs, they are under the departments but not under the college. We have one tech fest called techritz , one cultural fest called yuvatarang. The cultural fest is celebrated by the combination of three colleges which are vignan's institute of information technology, vignan's institute of engineering for women, vignan's institute of pharmaceutical technology. As it is women's college it is so strict and in college primises we should behave as school kids where we not supposed to roam in class hrs and not allowed in library at that time.

In hostel we have three blocks named with Nyaya, Dharma , Satya. Per room 4 members and building is constructed in 5 floors. Food is not that much good but can be eatable, they provide different items but taste was ok. Due to insufficient place they took apartment for rent at outside of the side and maintaining them as hostel. Food will provide them for the main hostel via van. In main hostel there is problem with rats but food is good in main hostel when compared to outside college hostels.

I joined this college via counseling process conducted by Andhra Pradesh State government. Every year the cutoff will be changed, I got this college for my rank and my category. I put this college in option because of its placements that they provided in their website. This is my last option that I opt for colleges. Because of my rank and my category I got this college, although I can get admission in other colleges but I cannot get the course information technology.

Faculty teaches students with ppt along with that they use black blackboard if necessary. In some classes we also have smart boards if needed we can use that by shifting the class. They give seminar to students and encourage them to speak without any fear. They give some questions for assignment which helps to read at semester time. They provide knowledge about placements and present ruling technology. Help students upto their best. They conduct workshops max 3 per year and provide certificates for that. Encourage students to participate in college events whether it technical or non technical.
