Course Curriculum Overview

1

There is nothing like curriculum in this college and most of the faculty don't even what curriculum means. I only choosed this course because I wanted a graduation degree close to my home and also doing preparation for other competitive exams or civil services. This college needs improvement in every area most of the faculty don't even understand basic english, me being an english medium school students can't attend a single lecture

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fees is affordable but college is not good for someone who really want to learn during his graduation. Fees is same for every category and everyone gets scholarship but the problem is they give scholarship of that session to next session. Expenses like breakfast and lunch for the invigilator of viva during projects submission the is asked by professors from students for giving them good marks in practical.

Campus Life

1

There is no such things like festivals and fest in this college or if they celebrate some festivals is only celebrated in a small meeting hall with few students around just to click some pictures for formality. There are no books in the library and either if there are no one in this university is interested in studying those books , the library is very small and students use library as a place to gossip and eat lunch under the fan other than eating in ground. No extracurricular activities expect sports day celebration. There is nk student run social group, club, or students portal there is only political parties like NSUI which does drama in the name of helping students for the news.

Admission

After my 12th I applied for colleges for 5 YEAR integrated LLB course in CUET UG but didn't get good marks and due to family's economic condition I couldn't take admission in any private college so I took admission in a local university for a bachelor's degree with the idea of studying sidewise for other competitive exams or civil services. Admission process in this university is only merit based and almost everyone gets selected, there is no cuttoffs or any specific criteria for admission

Faculty

1

The faculty to student ratio is good and there is enough teachers for every subject but their relationship with students is not good they don't care alot about teaching students all they care about is taking help from students and that's how some students come in the good books of that teacher and getting better marks. There is no teacher in the faculty to like . There is a assistant professor is economics department Anjani Suryawashi whom I don't like from first year of my college, every time comes to take lecture and leave the class but not a single student understood what he just said in those 40 minutes. There is only one exam in a year, an annual exam and no tests or any other exams

Placement Experience:

At DAV studnets get placed but our department provides research and teaching opportunities and therefore placements are nil to some. Overall though DAV has great placements record and that is why students thrive to take admission here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was really great and definitely helped me choose the course. Each topic helped me learn across the curriculum and gave me a detailed insight of the things I was unaware. It helped learn a lot about English literature and it's different concepts in a deeper sense. I would suggest that some concepts which can be simplified in learning can be modified accordingly.
