Remarks
The college needs to develop a lot at infrastructure and faculty recruitment. Smart classes should be integrated in every department and the the +2 block should be separated from the +3 block so that lecturers can take classes on time.
Course Curriculum Overview
To be really honest, the course is quite heavy and we hardly get to read texts and we have do with summaries. There is never enough time to go through the whole course. We have semester pattern of exams. 1 semester has 1 mid term and 1 university exam.
Placement Experience
The college doesnt provide any kind of job opportunities and internships. There are certain placement drives but we havent seen any company come around for that. Its just a show and nothing else. I did internships through other media.
College Events
There are lot of events celebrated in the college. Starting from all national festivals to local festivals. Annual functions, freshers and farewell are regular events too. Seminars and cultural gests are also held.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is actually very feasible. You have to pay less than 5k per year as re-admission and 300 per semester for registration. So I must have spent around 18k in the course of 3 years as fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers scholarship based upon merit. If any student has performed exceptionally well in their 12th, some amount of the tution fees is waivered off. Not many apply for it so its not popular.
Campus Life
Labs are provided for all science departments, all that lacks is good maintenance of it. Sports events are pretty usual and you can get to play university level events through this. Games like badminton, cricket and basketball are played here.
Hostel Facilities
This college has no hostel facilities available right now but there are a lot privately owned hostels around the college. The locality very safe and its great for girls to stay at and they wouldn't encounter any kind of problem.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is very strong but there isnt any official alumni meet event held. Seniors are very helpful and they help their juniors as their little brothers and sisters. There isnt any case of ragging like this of Engg colleges.
Faculty
Faculty is really great and helping but they also have to face the brunt of the curriculum as it has been designed really carelessly. And they should not burdened with the tasks of admission procedure.
