Navigating Campus Life : A Comprehensive Review of Anna University [BIT Campus ,Tiruchirappalli]

The main aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course was its focus on practical applications and real-world relevance.The curriculum includes comprehensive modules on both theoretical knowledge and practical skills which are essential for my academic and professional growth.

The students are eligible for placements from 7th semester itself.Many companies visited our college for this academic year. They provide more offers and packages for the students.They have also conducting placement classes for the students who are willing to place in a good job. More than 55% of students get placed till now and the placements processes are still ongoing.

The Yearly Tuition fee that i have been paying for general category is INR 18000, as I am an First Graduate student. For Genral category the yearly fee amount is INR 30000.In addition to the First Graduate concession, The SC and ST categories have further more reductions.For these students,the yearly Fee is standardized into INR 18000, regardless of the first Graduate status.But from this year they denied these reductions of Tuition Fee for SC and ST Categories. The one time Fee (Payable at the time of admission) is INR 7500 ,the Caution Deposit is INR 7000 and the term fee payable for every semester is INR 15000 with Tution Fee of INR 6000 with a grand total of INR 30000 for general category.For now they have slightly (like 1%-2%) increased the Fee. And there also a category called "7.5% Reservation" for those who have completed their schooling in goverment schools from thier 6 th grade. The students comes under this category does'nt want to pay a single penny until the completion of their course. The scholarship here is based on categories and annual income of the parents.For General Category, the scholarship amount will range from INR 7000 to INR 9000, and for SC and ST categories it range from INR 12000 to INR 15000. The annual income of the parents should be less than 1.2 lakhs.

They conduct culturals and symposium for every year.The symopsium happens every year and for every department. It mostly happens on the odd semester of the year. They invite many colleges for this event. They conduct both Technical and Non-Technical events which makes the participants more engaged. They have a wide range of referral Books in Library more than journals. They offer more extracurricular activites especially for sports,they conduct a sports day named KRIDA which happen every year.

I chose this college because of its strong academic reputation,good faculty, and practical curriculum.I applied to a few other colleges, but this one stood out for this bak=lanced approach to theory and hands-on learning.I got this college with counselling.The admission process was quite difficult as it took a whole day for the process. The eligibility criteria is based on the marks from HSLC where 50% of Physics,50% of chemistry and 100% of MathematicsIt is based on the cutoff out of 200. they have clear eligibity criteria and reasonable cutoff

The Relationship between the students and Faculities are quite good. There are more Faculties who are friendlier with students, They guide us in our studies.They help students for thier placements and for thier higher studies also. Most of the faculties are student friendlier and help students for their projects. There are two Internal tests for each semester, They conduct the test according to the portions they have completed.
