Likes

Teachers are very supportive. Especially the course teacher 2023-2025
Nice infrastructure is provided. Learning facilities too are very good.
Helpful and supportive guide teachers are in the college especially in B. Ed department.

Dislikes

Lack of scholarship provided in the side of college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Nice curriculum and syllabus is there. Practicals are provided for most theory papers. Seminars and international conferences are provided. A student teacher will be very confident about their teaching skills after completing this course from GRI.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Placement Experience

4th semester practical is making one eligible for placement. Last year one students was selected to Luxor World International School, nearby, one of the good schools Dindigul. I am not sure about the package. Nearly 20000 will be provided monthly for sure.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the first year, 5000 pais for uniform and record books. 1St semester - 15270 2nd semester -9150 3rd semseter- 11320 4th semester -9150 Egrants is availables as scholarship. B Ed in Gandhigram is very beneficial for the teaching ambitious students.

Campus Life

Pooja, gandhi jayenthi, educational day, freshers day, farewell party, etc. most festivals will be celebrating here. Shanti sena is one of the major group here. Projector and presentations are here. Seminar conducting is important here enhancing teaching skills.

Admission

Our batch (2023-2025)is tbe first CUET batch in tbr university. TN, ODISHA and KERALA students are here. Maintains cultural integrity. After CUET result, register for the counseling letter by applying in the Gandhigram University. Attending the counseling day, admission is decided.

Faculty

Faculties are very supportive. Guide teachers are very friendly. Provides all necessary requirements to improve student learning and teaching atmosphere. Exams are very simple and student oriented. Our skills are enhanced during this exams.

Likes

Environment of campus. Because it's very calm and greenary.
Faculties are good person and all of them are talented.

Dislikes

They should give some training for getting placements.

Placement Experience:

From the third semester, the students are eligible for campus placements. Sri Jothi Higher Secondary School, Vethathri Maharishi Higher Secondary School, Sengunthar Higher Secondary School, etc. are the companies that visited and got placements at these schools. Nearly 50% of students get placements. Some students are going for higher studies. My plan is to get pass in tet and get a Job in a government school teacher

MY COLLEGE OF EDUCATION

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to B.Ed because I have a major interest in teaching and I did it in Social Studies. The faculty in the college is amazing and supportive guiding students in every situation. Although I did distance learning I still managed to make bonds with my faculties and they helped me out whenever I needed them. There is a total of 45 students in one class. All of them are connected through WhatsApp groups mainly. Exams are held semester wise and each semester was for six months. Students were informed about the examinations through calls from the Professors. Exams were of moderate level and easier to gain good score.

One should have passed 10+2 from any recognized board with 50% in commerce, science or arts. The selection is based on the entrance test organized by the college , the time, date and venue will we directed by the head of the department for the counselling and its is mandatory for all the students to attain the counselling .

Place for learn to teach

Remarks:

Positive- you will Learn what you left to learn from school, more than yoh develop knowledge. Personally What I have learnt, they push us put of comfort zone learn the new things. For example: overcome of inferior complexity, public speaking, etc. Negative- they may be strict, if you go against the institution.

I get a suggestion by my friend, jeya Prakash sir first I filled the admission form. I came with my mother and uncle. I paid an initial admission amount. They inform the date of re-opening. And they suggest me about the hostel facility.

Eligibility is 12th pass students. Online website in the GRI Portal to find the application form. Application fees will be BC/MBC - 600, SC/ST - No fees. SC/ST community persons in counseling process fee reduction will be available. The percentage-wise to select the candidate in this Course.
