KLE lyf was best

Curriculum is good Recently we had updated the curriculum including AI related topics and recent advances and evidence based practices Obg is a subject which focused only on women's health but we had seen male urological cases more, so we also requested for curriculum inclusion

During our times there wasn't any stipend but now they give around 5000 per month as a stipend for masters Interns its yet to start Total there are 11-12 Physiotherapy department in which they'll b posted along with that general ward, surgery ward, labor, ortho, neuro, onco medicine like dat wards they'll be posted for 15 days

My Category: OBC but got it through Merit Year 1: 2.5 lakhs Year 2: 2.5 lakhs Miscellaneous: 1 lakh ( developmental fees) Projects: 20-40k Conference: 20k Scholarship and financial aids available but it takes long process It's linked with State and National scholarship program.

The campus life was fun Good eateries in an around. Lots of waterfall and trekking present Good sports and extracurricular activities will be there They celebrate all dandia, diwali, holi etc Only disadvantage is there are lots of clubs in and around so at times it can be the distraction for the students who are into personal habits.

Hostel facility for Indian students are worst As we physios get room in USM KLE with Malaysian students So we are not allowed to use the washing machine kept on each floor ( total 5 floors) if we caught using washing machine there is 2k fines, as machines are only for Malaysian 5th floor is only for Indians, so we can't go room on another floor if caught punishment but Malaysian student can room and sit on any floors Lots of lizards, cockroaches etc At times when there is heavy rain water starts leaking from the ceiling. Mausi timings of cleaning is odd at times when we are there, they won't come coz they'll b eating or chit chatting When dey are free we'll be at clg or hospital.

I had applied for manipal, had written exam and was selected as my rank was 74, but then result were out too late after I pay 1 lakh to book the seat at KLE I even wanted DSU but then I had done 4 years of my undergraduate there I wanted to go out to explore and get different patient exposure.

3 semester exams Paper 1, 2 and 3 in first year, these are non elective subject ( 1 is for research biostatistics and physical education, 2 is for basic Physiotherapy and 3 is elective) Paper 4 and 5 in second year which is elective subjects Apart from that one short project being 2nd author and one thesis being first author is compulsory Seminar n journal presentation Techniques demonstration Minicex DOPS One paper has to be presented and one attended before getting into final exam
