Course Curriculum Overview
B.ed course is all about how to teach effectively. My ambition from day 1 is to become a teacher and for becoming a teacher I should know how to teach well or how child's development takes place. How they think ,how they work, and B.Ed curriculum is perfectly applicable and I think it will surely help in my real world teaching experience. I am right now learning and I have done one month internship so I can surely say that curriculum is perfectly related with real life, it focuses on child and I don't think there is any kind of improvement is needed.
Internships Opportunities
As a teacher, we go for 1 month and 4 month internship at government schools and we do not get any kind of stipend. We go for real world applications of our teaching and we teaches without any kind of remuneration.

Admission
For taking admission in B. Ed you have to give an entrance exam which helds in April may. Exam contains 100 questions of 1.5hr. For every correct answer you'll get 1 marks and there is negative marking also , so 0.25will be minused for 1 wrong answer . After you got the result you have to fill councelling form in which you have to fill details or apply to your most preferred college by ranking them. According to your percentage you will get selected in the college given by your choice. I scored 67% in my entrance exam and I filled the councelling form in which I chose only two colleges first one is Govt Teacher Training College Hazaribag (preference 1) and another one is Govt TeacherTraining College Ranchi (preference 2) and I was very confident that I will get admission in GTTC Hazaribag. Merit list was out nd I got admission in GTTC Hazaribag. There are 4 -5 rounds of councelling happens for admission , so you can try if you did not get your preferred college in first councelling then u can also try it out in 2nd or 3rd councelling. Councelling fee- 300 In our college there are 100 seats for a session. For SC-ST , there are approx 70seats For OBC, There are only 10 seats For Gen also , there are 10 seats Rest seats are for EWS category or minority. So it will be better to score more so you can easily get the admission.
Faculty
The faculty student ratio is 1:10 . There are various faculties - Dr. Shankar Dubey, Dr. Abhinash kumar, Dr. Aftab Alam, Mr. J P Verma, Mr. Praween Sharma, Mrs Sanjeeta Kumari, Mrs. Reeta Singh, Mr Jyotin Prakash Kushwaha , Mr. Pradeep Kumar, Mr. Vikrant Kumar. All faculty members of our college are very cooperative and highly approachable. They always try to help us and motivate us . There is no teacher which I dislike but I mostly like JP Verma sir because they always help us to achieve our goal and I think he is very dedicated towards his work ,which I personally appreciate this quality. Our B.Ed contains 4 semester. Each semester has 1 internal and 1 external . I don't think any student will fail in this exam because our B.Ed syllabus contains the things which we already know and these are only about child, how child learn, how child's thinking works and how we will teach . So in my opinion you can easily score 80% in exam.
Other Applied Colleges
Ranchi University | Bachelor of Education [B.Ed]
