Srinivas dental college- a place i would call home for hope

The curiculum gives equal importance to development of skills of the students and gives equal priority to practicals just like theory which makes it easier to understand complex subjects such as anatomy and gives a better understanding of the subject. For example in second ear cavity preperations are done on a human model which makes the students capable enough to work on real life patients

Internship in the college for one year is compulsary during that time we are taken to several camps and public institutes and spaces to educate and bring awarenes in people about the dental issues and care . We will also be having posting in mulki goverment hospital during our internship

Management quota First year- 235000 (tuition fee) 35000( university and other fee) 20000( books and dental kit) Second year- 235000(tution fee) 20000( books and dental kit) Third year- 235000(tution fee) 20000(books and dental kit) Fourth year-235000(tution fee) - 20000(dental kit) For students from merit quota the fees per year was 125000 The college has adition charges for uniform which will be around 3000 for two pairs . The uniform is same for the first two years and then it is different for the next two years. Application for loan is possible. Postmetric scholarship for backward students of sc and st are available- NSP and SSP scholarship .

There are several clubs like dance club, music club, fashion club, sports club, drama club which are not kept by just thier names and are made use of . This college has brought my love for dance a second chance . I was always worried about losing my dancing career bieng in a medical field , but srinivas gave me hope and chance . Sports and cultural competition are conducted for interdental association , srinivas university , for rguhs and within the college itself . Sports week and cultural week for the college are done every year

Aj institute of dental science was my second choice but after a through study about both the colleges from the information given by other wesites and my friends who were studing in both the colleges i realised the number of patients are similar in both the colleges but the faculity was better here , the campus was better in aj but financially srinivas was much more affordable . The cultural programs was also good here thrrefore i chose srinivas

All the faculity are keen on teaching and helping thier students .hemanth sir and varsha mam from the dadh department ate my favourite , sir is the student coorfinator for first year he is also the hod of the orqp pathology department . Varsha mam has thought my how to carve well ,she was very kind and patient from the very start and always repeated her explanation without any kind of frustrations . Each department has about minimum of 8 staffs . There are three intrrnals which comes with an interval of two months and the average of the best two is marked out of 10 and added to the final as internal mark .the finals is the main exam . For dadh and anatomy theory is out of 70 while biochem and physio is combined 70.the exams are moderate in the level of difficulty . The course curriculum is perfect as the practicals and theory go hand in hand for all subjects which helps us to mould our skills which is very important in dentistry.
