Wonderful place to groom through lifelong learning

The college is a wonderful place to study. A person doesn’t only learn about MCA and its subjects but learns life skills like time management, discipline, hard work, passion towards activity and so on. Towards the end of the program, a student finds himself well prepared for the coming years in both personal and professional aspects. Institute believes in the ideology of Shrimad Rajchandra. The values suggested by Shrimad sensitize towards philosophy of life which is one of the USP of the college.

The course curriculum is of top quality which I didn't find in any MCA colleges. The curriculum includes compulsory as well as electives. It focused on project based study through experiential learning. The exam structure is relevant in the sense that it focuses on continuous evaluation. Also, students are tested more on the basis of their understanding skills. The curriculum has helped me to become a good learner, hence learning a new emerging technology in this fast-paced domain.

The placement of the college is nearly 100%. We are provided college letters to avail projects and placement at an organization of regional and national level. The college has a Placement Cell, which invites different companies for placement. Our placement starts from June and by Nov-Dec, we get placed for projects or placement or both. Students are trained regarding soft skill, resume building, interview preparation and many more for previous semesters itself.

The college celebrates events technical events like RDBMS day, Poster presentations for knowledge sharing, IT competitions, etc. To cherish the cultural heritage, it organizes competitions like Dahi-Handi, Mehndi, Rangoli, Aarti-thali and other related competitions. With the focus of patriotism, the college celebrates Republic Day and Independence Day through essays and oratories. Health and cleanliness related events are organized around the year in the form of sports day, health camps, swatchhta abhiyaan , etc.

I had studied MCA. Currently, its fees are nearly 35K. That includes tuition fees, enrolment fees, etc. The university provides a book bank facility wherein students are given fixed numbers of books to study. They are asked to return the books back by the end of the semester. This helps the student to save the heavy amount generally spent on book purchases for two-three years.

I have not opted for any scholarship. Yet, I am aware that college offers B.U.Patel Scholarship Scheme, which helps the needy student who is good at academics.

Campus life is energetic. Near to an equal proportion of boys and girls can be found. Also, students from rural background get an opportunity to grab higher studies through the college.

Alumni are an integral part of the institute’s growth. Currently, alumni are part of academic regulation bodies at university and college levels. Also, alumni come for placement. Hence many of them share the role of recruiter too. Some of the alumni members visit a college to share industry experience or recent technical needs that the industry expects. This helps the current students to sharpen their skills accordingly.

The college has a transparent process for admission. During ACPC rounds, I had selected SRIMCA as my first choice and had got it confirmed. The admission is on the basis of eligibility criteria and merit. The admission process begins in the month of May-June.

The staff members are experts in their respective domains. They use different teaching ways to share knowledge. They give topics to study in forms like notes, assignments, journals, etc. We are also asked to give feedback on the teacher and his/her teaching methodology during the semester. The research interest of our teacher has also imbibed the research-orientation in me.
