Course Curriculum Overview

4

Frankly speaking 95 percent of the students choose bds because they couldn't get mbbs seat, same goes with me I've scored 550 in neet decent for good gov dental college but due to family problem I've have to choose this college In the beginning medical subject can be challenging and da/dh it's a new subject for us can be confusing but with time u get use to it and by the end of yr if u have studied property 1 or 2 hr daily u can expect good academic performance Timing of examination is 3 hr Difficulty is easy for internal and in final university examination it can be medium to Easy

Internships Opportunities

3

There is compulsory internship mandatory in 5 yr bds cource but u can opt for paid externship at any college of ur choice My close senior did his inter at maids delhi Only u have to maintain good academic performance every year above 70 percent is required rest internship here is good patient outflow is good for oral surgery ortho cons and ok ok for prostho

Hello I'm Rohit I'm persuing my bachelors in dentistry at pcds Yearly fees here is ?214000(tution fees) Caution fees-10k(refundable) Rest miscellaneous charges that includes locker charges ?500 Devlopmental fees, lab fees, etc can cost around 20k There is scholarship available for catagory students,u can get scholarship around 1.4 lakhs but u have to submit catagory certificate and related documents

Campus Life

3

Campus life is ok ok U can't have good friends here as a day scholar I can be wrong but at the end of the day u are ur only friend no one is going to save u it's only u who have to work hard and become a good doctor rest everything is fine there is small fest organised by us every year at the time of March or Feb u can take part in dancing,Indoor games, poetry, singing etc There are enough co curricular activities organised in this college No there are no particular society for particular good but u can participate in anything

Admission

Admission process for bds is through neet score and mp neet counciling and according to college cutoff u get seat here Personally I wanted to take admission in mbbs or in gov dental college but due to family reasons I've chosen this but I think I'll do well in neet mds and there always good in every thing.i believe in god's plan

Faculty

5

Here in some department student faculty ratio is quite good best in there kind but in some department it's ok ok for example in prosthodontics we have 15 professor for 90 students that's quite good ration same of oral surgery and same for orthodontics but in case of anatomy and biochem it's not so needs improvement rest teaching quality for medical and dental subjects are good u can always reach out to them for doubts and there are online course available seniors will help u out There are 4 exams per year 2 internal 1 pre university and 1 university In all of them u have to get 55 percent or else u will be considered fail Best facilities I've seen in oral surgery department and cons and prostho department

Course Curriculum Overview:

So basically bds subjects are too lengthy but due to exam system we feel it easy to handle, in a year there is in total 4 exams (3 session nd last one is main University examination) so if a smart student give first 3 exam sincerely then he felt very easy in university. The scope of development is in seriousness of faculties, faculties take students either for granted or in ego

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is as decided by the Dental Council of India (DCI). It includes all necessary topics required for application in any dental clinic. Although the syllabus may appear to be very vast, it is doable, especially if you study consistently. There are 3 subjects each in the first, second, and third year, and eight subjects in the final year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college is close to my home town and fees is reasonable this two things influence me to choose this course. College prepare at its level but we have to prepare ourselves for each and every hurdle in practice and clinics. The teaching methods of college is very old and slow they should try new methods so that students also take interest in studies. Timing of exams are not fix they take exams any time , they take internals before 1 month of final exams , college not give us paper leave.
