Remarks

Thank god I'm nomore part of it. I'm very glad now. And if you have a daughter or son never send them for doing BDS from please as they will be torchered enough in 5 long years and after the pain of being unemployed might sent them in depression.

Entrance Preview

I have given dmat and option was BDS only. The day i went there for counseling few seats of MBBS were left but they were asking for bribe of around 12 lac and as we belong to middle class family we were unable to do so,so we have chosen bds but again it doesn't given any sense as there is huge discrimination is done among an BDS and MDS.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course is very lengthy and laborious. Faculties were good and determined but at times partial as well. As assignments given to the students made them forget tthhe time. Library was well arranged and it was a huge library that can accommodate lacs of books in there racks. Clinical standard is good as compared to other colleges. Patient flow was very nice. As charges for the treatment was very less or nominal i can say.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was not too satisfying. I have not made learn feew things due to busy faculties. At times we asked but they havn't guided enough for us to help our skills.

Placement Experience

0.5

There is no job opportunities if you do BDS from any college so i won't suggest any one to pursue this course. Total waste of time and money. Even the college you will be passout wouldn't even buy a courage to employ you. They have not offered any job options from there side. Not a single company visited our college for any campus drive. Whole 5 years we were not bothered about the job as we thought we could get a job in our college also but after becoming passout when i applied in my own college then it was not having any vacancy.

College Events

2.5

College fest were organized on very grand leven in the first year in 2008. later the budget was cut short every passing year. Previously each stream in ppls group organized there events separately but later things were drastically changed. General festivals were annual day, garba nights,Valentine's day etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

No not at all. It was private college they always believed in taking more rather then giving away. I was good in academics but as i have got no reservation so i was not eligible to get any such scholerships. I always wondered that i could have got reservation and then that way i would have wasted lesser money in pursuing BDS.

Campus Life

5

Campus was good. Facilities were good. Ambience was good as well. Gym sports club everything was available for us. Girls no was higher among students. Tolerance regarding race and religion was good. It was not the matter of concern for anyone. Few workshops were arranged year by year at times for improving our skills and few for paper presentations. I have learned few thing as well. We attended few national conferences also in order to learn new things and for these activities college given us aa platform.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostels were good food was ok but the senior warden was horrible. I hated her a lot. She treated me very badly all 4 years. Hostel rent was 55000 plus 2000 caution money a year. For both accommodation and fooding as well. At times we ate cockroaches along with our food. There was very less hygiene maintainance there. We complained many times but nothing changed in 5years. In each room ither 1or 2 girls were acomodated. They have to share common room but different belongings. That included separate Almira bed table chair bedside table etc.

Alumni/Alumna

My senior were the only thing in my college that I hated most. They were nasty creatures who affected my academics as well. They enjoyed ragging new students and ruined there peace of mind. One student named sristi left the college because of ragging. Diplomatic behavior they followed even few faculties supported seniors as well.

So basically bds subjects are too lengthy but due to exam system we feel it easy to handle, in a year there is in total 4 exams (3 session nd last one is main University examination) so if a smart student give first 3 exam sincerely then he felt very easy in university. The scope of development is in seriousness of faculties, faculties take students either for granted or in ego

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college is close to my home town and fees is reasonable this two things influence me to choose this course. College prepare at its level but we have to prepare ourselves for each and every hurdle in practice and clinics. The teaching methods of college is very old and slow they should try new methods so that students also take interest in studies. Timing of exams are not fix they take exams any time , they take internals before 1 month of final exams , college not give us paper leave.
