Srkr engineering college review

Our college always stands in one of the top 5 positions in Andhra Pradesh and also holds a postion in top 100 colleges in India incluiding IIT's, NIT's and other Universities. I have enquired a lot about this college before joining and surprisingly no one said atleast one bad review about our college.

The course curriculum is very good. There are little things that need to be changed in curriculum. But most part of curriculum is good. Now coming to exams, exams are conducted in semester pattern and we will have GPA system for results.

In our college placements done very well and almost all students who are eligible for placement criteria will get placed in major companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgimini, etc. Recently Yahoo also vistited our college for placement drive and recruited two students. Comming to internships our college dont provide any internships.

All national events like independece day, republic day, etc are celebrated. In addition to them we celebrate department fests and a common fest for all departments called annual day. In departmental fests only a particular department student will involve and celebrate the fest but in other events all the departments will join together. Our college will also celebrate womens day.

I this the fee structure is not so expensive because any college with this kind of facilities and infrastructure would charge more than our college. We need to pay the fee at the begining of the year only. We are not allowed to pay the fee in semester wise.

I don't know about any scholarship or loan facility in our college. I think there is no such facility in our college. But students can get scholarship from some organisation or fee reambursment from government if the student meets the eligible criteria of that organisation or government. Our college staff will help students in this processes.

Our college has a special physical education department and for 1st year it is mandidatory also. Activities like coding contests, mini projects or workshops, etc these kind of activities will be conducted almost 60% of the college days. They are very common in our college. Sports are conducted atleast 5 to 6 times in a year like during departmental fest or annual day or during some special occasions like independence day.

Our college Alumni is the best. They encourage creative thing and they also support us by funding for projects and they also release funds for each department every year to make some upgrades. Our seniors are well setteled and most of them will send funds to our college every year in 2016 our seniors sent a fund of 95Lakhs for development of infrastructure of our CSE department because of them we got the best facilities and upgraded computers and a new block also.

Our college faculty are experienced, helpful and all of them has good command over the subject. Few of them are P.hd holders and some are persuing their P.hd. Get a job in my college is not a simple task because every one need to pass the interview there is no exception for anyone if they want to join as a teching staff.
