Likes

University is located between nature, campus is peaceful and far away from busy world with lot of space. Its the fresh air and good environment so it's provide good place for study
University has a good infrastructure with beautiful natural surrounding.buildings are good with morden and well designed.

Dislikes

Hostel facilities is very low quality needs upgradation.
Distance from hostel to college is very high nearly 2-3 kms

Course Curriculum Overview

There are total 8 semester offered by this cource. In first 4 sem introduction of agriculture is tought by faculties and 5 & 6 sem More detailed about agriculture knowledge like insects, pest, diseases, remote sensing, machinery etc. And last 2 sem like internship like visits industrial phase, research stations, kvks, educational tour, ELP etc.

Class Size: 130Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Placement Experience

There are no or minir placement by university because nost of student don't want them because of low package or for pg studies. Banks are coming for students for agricultural loan officers. Other students are preparing for government exams like UPSC, GPSC, AO, NABARD GRADE A etc.

Campus Life

There are some annual events like cultural events, annual programme, inter collegiate sports tournament, inter university sports tournament. One of the best library i ever seen in my life it was very pleasant and thousnads of books no only related to agricultural but also a common books also. There are no groups and clubs.

Hostel Facilities

Room has attached washroom with balcony. Hostel is surrounded by farms with good environment. Each room has 3 students. Food quality is moderate but too expensive because of it's self mess and no other option of food because of remote area. Registration of hostel is automatically when you got addmission.

Hostel Fee: INR 5000 per year

Admission

I applied other colleges like AAU, ANAND. JAU, JUNAGADH.NAU, NAVSARI. BUT this place is good and i choose over them because less academic stress and more practical knowledge and we can do other activities like sports, cultural events and we get chance to play national.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is about 20:1 and some faculties are good. there are three exams like mid term , practical , sem end exam.Some faculties are also provided good guidelines for future.over all average faculty.

My reason to choose course, I love to study in horticulture. There is 60 students in our class. It is 4 year course, There are 3 exams taken per semester, total 8 semesters are there, it is not hard to pass out in exam.

Only last year Students eligible for apply placement only a few companies are visited the college like IDBI Bank IFFCO agrostar are visited the highest package offered by the company is 13 lakhs and the average package is around 3 to 3.5 lakhs around 20 to 25% of student are get a job from one campus placement due to more most of the student of study in pg my plan is the I start entrepreneurship as a fertilizer company

The college is spread over an area of 1185 hectares. It came into existence in 1972. Acharya devvrat is the current chancellor of the college. Dr. R k patel is the vice chancellor of the college. The college is approx 30 km from palanpur town.

I applied in AAU ( anad agriculture University) for B V sc course. Because vatenary have more scope than agriculture but having low score in gujcet I choose agriculture course and get admission in SDAU dantiwada .in our college get eligible in admission round there are 4 round to join college.no any additional exam are conducted for addmission.if you belong to farmer community you get 10 marks extra on your merit.cut off is very low for our college....Read More
