Reality of sdm

The course is bams which is highly developing in all aspects of medical fields and the job opportunity has increased in this field all over India. The curriculum should focus on modern disease correlation than just focusing of ayurveda exams are written under rguhs where the difficulty level is bit hight

No companies come for interviews in the internship. It takes just in the college level, the college provides 2000 stipend for ugs and 5000 for pgs No projects were held regarding job opportunities but research opportunities were provided.

My fees over all is 500000 which includes the tution fees cation labs and everything this a category of management fees the other category of management fees is 700000 and sc st is 150000 and the government quota is varieing from 50000 to 150000 and the lab and extra curricular activity fees is charged extra

These is 1 annual fest conducted college level every year which is held according the principals convenience. There were no clubs present in this campus until October 2024 where 5 clubs were made and each student was asked to pay 3000 per year to avail 1 club activity until now no club activities have taken place. All the books and journels are available in the library there is a digital library aswell. Projectors are provided in the classrooms for digital learning. 6 types of outdoor sports among which 6 types for men and 5 types for women and 3 types of indoor sports are conducted for men and women no sports are encouraged to learn by an individual but more likely each sport is played by those students who have learnt it priorly. Each sport tournaments are conducted once a year in college level. Each class room has a seating capacity of 75 students and one Projector for presentations and 1 black board. Students do not run any social groups clubs or student portals all of them are run by the college management students do what they are asked to do. Even the serving president and the student council is not chosen by the students the management forms the student council there are no student choices in the campus

I applied for kalabhaireshwara jss sushrutha and sdm among these i got selected for kalabhaireshwara sushrutha and sdm( 3 branches Bangalore, hassan, and udupi). I went to all these colleges through management quota or direct admissions because my score was not sufficient enought to get my desired among all those i applied i did not gey through jss because jss requires connections to get a seat which i lacked. I slected sdm in that the udupi brach as sdm is one of the top colleges in inda and sdm has it's own pharmacy which produces its own brand of medications and the udupi branch is the 1st and oldest among the 3 branches. The hospitals of this college is very huge which has high patience admission capacity through which i can gain good practical knowledge. The admissions process to my college can be applied through neet, kcet and management quota. Most preferred exams are neet for all india and kcet for karnataka.

Very few faculty are approachable and there is lot of differentiation done between the academically bright and poor students and the mental health of the students is not focused and equal opportunities are not provided to all students. 4 exams are conducted every year and the difficulty of the papers are moderate
