Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum holds relevance and content to the engineering college, especially because of its concentration on current trends in technology and industrial demands. The main factors that drew me towards choosing this course emphasized the practical application of ideas, integrating lab work and project-based learning almost every semester. The electives facility also enables specialization in emerging fields such as AI and data science, hence providing better preparation in the face of challenges. The most effective element in the curriculum is in how it strikes a balance between theoretical knowledge and experience. The curricula go both ways; after all, a student can either opt to head straight into the workforce or pursue higher education. Still, there are areas in some of the more ancient subjects where a bit of time could be better spent to keep up with what is changing rapidly with technology. Some more real-life case studies could be included in order to teach problem-solving skills. In general, the frequency and timing of exams are quite good, with enough preparation time before an exam; however, some exams appear to be a bit too theoretical and not pragmatic enough to pose as a possible reflection of actual real-world skills that will possibly be required. In generalizing the difficulty of exams, including more practical exams would make the overall outcome of the exams much more effective. The curriculum is pretty sound but can always use some new updates in content matter and methodology of teaching to make it more relevant.

Fees and Financial Aid

One year fees for the college for my course i.e. cse(ai+ml) is 4.5 lakh and the hostel fees us 2.35 lakh for one year. So for total 4 years the expenditure will be around 30 lakhs. The registration fees was 10 thousand. And for exams we have to pay examination fees of three thousand

Campus Life

4

There is a good tendency on the campus towards both academic work as well as extra-curricular tasks. The cultural event, “Renaissance,” and the technical event, “TechStorm” take place every February and October respectively, animating adolescent life on campus. The library has a fairly adequate stock of books and journals, and has sites for electronic access. The classrooms have been fitted with smart boards and projectors to maximize learning. The campus has good sports facilities which include a gym and basketball, cricket and football courts. Other clubs like the Robotics Club and the Literary Society have also enhanced the creative and the political aspects of student life which is very social and dynamic.

Hostel Facilities

4

Rooms: The hostel accommodation provides well-furnished rooms with all the basics like a bed, study table, and cupboard, besides Wi-Fi access. They have a study room, and there is this recreational lounge. Meals were okay, but different items were served. For the same, improvement both in taste and quality can be done. The registration procedure of hostel is hassle free and rooms are provided on the first-cum-first-serve basis according to availability and affordability. The fees are not very high, so it becomes quite easy for most of the students to afford. For those seeking PG, other nearby localities like Indiranagar have affordable PGs along with good amenities and become an even more favorable option for students seeking off-campus locations.

Admission

I had applied to several colleges - IITs and NITs, but couldn't make it as the score in JEE Advanced was a tad smaller. However, I picked this one: the industry and practical curriculum is quite strong here, with excellent placement records as well. Most of its facilities and labs are on par with, and in some cases even stronger than other colleges where I sought admission. The admission process was very straightforward and based on JEE Mains scores with clear cutoffs set for each of the branches. Most of the students opt for JEE Mains as it is widely accepted. The whole process involved counseling rounds, document verification, and fee submission, which I found well-organized.

Faculty

4

The faculty student relations are good as when we reach out the teachers the corporate and help us in excelling. We are not allowed to disclose the faculty names hence won't be able to. The course I'm doing is ai/ml in computer science engineering and the course is really good and is future secure as in future ai will excel
