JUET from INSIDE

The curriculum prepare you well for gate but not for real world problems or placements . Inside the college you need to start studying about your desired field of interest in order to secure placement in that domain. The exams occur every 3-4 weeks and thier difficulty starts increasing gradually.

The placements have really gone down in recent years , however, there are always some bright minds in every year who grab around 20 lpa placements and get placed in good startups as well as mncs. According to the college , the placements percentage is 100% . In my opinion , I will personally chose to do a job as a software developer.

the course costs around 1587000 with around 8 lakhs as tuition fee , 20k caution money and around 6 lakhs 40k as hostel fees for 4 years. i've personally opted for hostel and because of that i have to pay this big sum of amount . there are scholarship programs also like cummins which is very popular in our college.

Campus life is not so great if you are a fun lover . The campus inside is very peaceful . The events and fests are also not that great compared to other similar colleges like lpu ,dtu ,etc. However, there are some events which happen every year like The Fresher "Aarambh" , musical night , traditional night, bollywood night, and college fest "De'Quinox".

The hostel facility is okayish in my opinion . The cleanliness can be improved though. We have 22 hostels here apart from the girls hostel. All the hostels have same size of rooms except hostel 22 (h-22) . It is a bit smaller and more congested than the other hostels. The menu is quite good however the mess staff couldn't match it with the food quality.

My parents personally liked this college due to its campus and the faculty . I didn't apply for any other college and i also saw that i was also sure about getting into this college. In order to get admitted you need to apply at the college web portal .

Some of the faculty here is quite helpful . some of the names that pop up in my head is Bannerjee sir, Ravi sir, Patidar sir, Atre sir etc. Some of them are also the worst here whom everyone dislikes. talking about exams you need to pass 3 theoretical exams and 2 practical exams in order to clear a subject.
