Remarks

Concession should be given to merit students which is not yet given till now and scholarship must be given in the college where other colleges do give them and college security must be increased where as their s no security now

Course Curriculum Overview

Assignment is compulsory for exam and it’s same as Bangalore university exams. assignment and internals are very stress for the students during exam time no watches shoes or else things to be carried

Placement Experience

Placement is available in this college IT companies like Wipro Infosys and IBM comes here but they don’t select more than 10 people other than that all Bpo companies come here for the selection process

Only one fest in 3 years and other than that yearly freshers day and ethnic day is celebrated thatsolve no others parties or event conducted but national science day is compulsorly conducted on February 28

Expensive for commerce students and little expensive for science students but there is no concession and marks card of last year will not be issued if we did not pay this year fees this is happening for everyone

No scholarship is availed from college and they would not provide any scholarships for merit students also they only see the admissions but not the scholarship welfare for the students but students can apply their own

Labs are conducted daily for Science students batch wise and sports area is there inside the college sports day is celebrated only for sports students and not for other gym is also there in sports room but not everyone can use the gym room

Senior students don’t mingle with junior students if they didn’t know them from earlier and seniors and juniors meet all together only during freshers day and the ethnic day other than that they don’t meet up

Good lectures but they give more assignments to write which becomes burden for students other than that they support students and they help them to participate in cultural activities but not all the time because they have to complete their portions

Placement Experience:

At St Aloysius University, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Reputed companies like Infosys, wipro, TCS etc have visited the campus offering multiple roles in IT services, research and analytics. The highest package has been around 7-8 LPA while the average has been around 3-4 LPA depending on the company and the profile of the student. Around 60-70% of eligible students secure placement each year

My honest review: College life, curriculum and career preparation

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.

My experience with Scaler School of Technology - A brief review

Placement Experience:

First of all, there isn't a passed out batch yet(as of 2025). The first batch enrolled in 2023 and they are currently in internship period as they've planned. Placement will be offered at the end of 4th year. Although for internships, around 50+ companies visited and 96% of students got internships. The average stipend was 30,000 INR and the highest stipend was 200,000 INR (non-domestic). My plans after getting the degree are to gain some experience and go for a masters in business if possible.

We will be ready for placements from the 5th semester as we will be given training on interview skills in the 5th semester. There are many companies that visit colleges like PN Rao, Reliance, Tailorman, etc. There are good different profiles offered like merchandising, designing, retail with different packages offered from different companies. There is 100% placements assured from college also we get more options for interviews and companies. I got placed from college in Tommy Hilfiger after my degree.
