Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course was nice i mean i joined the college after passing entrance exam just after 10th and it provided me a degree of diploma in electrical engineering now i can join a college and do btech in electrical engineering and course duration will be only for 3 years as i have degree of diploma

Internships Opportunities

1

College provided no internship opportunities and i myself have to join gaighat power plant and do internship also college provided no letter stating that i am student to this college and let me do internship here college have only means from certificate

Placement Experience

1

College placement was also available but the bulk employers were providing very low package like only 1.2 lakhs a year and also there were no opportunities and there was a golden opportunity to join a good company which was providing a package of 4 lakhs but i don't know that company only selected 2 students from my branch and also it was random it didn't depended upon marks so this was harsh.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

A admission amount of 2250 was charged. Then after every year registration charge was 1000. And per semester exam fees was 1000.Library card fees was 50.And admission fees included everything thing like insurance registration charges etc

Campus Life

1

The overall experience was very poor like no facilities were provided club was only for name as there is no such activity going on.No infrastructure and students disliked going to college as there were no events no nothing

Admission

Basic thing that approached me to join as this is a government college so fees is very less compared to other private colleges which provided same courses and also the degree i got from government college is far more valuable than i got from a private college

Faculty

2

Facilities were very poor like one teacher is forced to take 3 subjects even if he is not fully qualified to take the class and they were often rude and have no knowledege and care nothing about childrens. Exam system was like we have 6 semester and each semester is held for only 3-4 months and and internal exam was of 30 marks in which 20 marks in of mid sem and 10 marks for attendance in which qualifying marks was 12 and external exams was of 70 marks in which we have to score 28 to pass which of taken at a centre not in college itself and overall in 100 marks a students has to score 40 to pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum's industry relevance and focus on practical skills greatly influenced my choice. It provides a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies. However, it could benefit from more hands-on projects and updated teaching methods to keep pace with current trends. The exams are well-timed but could be spaced out better, as their difficulty sometimes feels unbalanced with the course content.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I didn't choose the course on my own. It was my father's decision and many students are same as me. I used to be one of the best student of my school till 10th. But can't hold the position in college because of improper mathods of teaching and discipline in college. However, the duration of exams are 3 hrs each and 2 papers a day but student can go when they are done.
