Course Curriculum Overview

3

Out of 5 i would rate 3 for curriculum There' always a scope of improvement. Due to lack of lab technicians and instruments and chemicals used students cant get proper knowledge. Teachers can use projectors but they dont teach us in projectors they dont show any kind of modules which in result doesnr clear doubts. They always provide us with the notes and but even that is late. Like before the exams notes are provided.

Internships Opportunities

3

Talking about the placement companies like TCS have heird students on the basis of their internships and experience and academics. It is necassary to qualify exams like FACT for better post in forensic science.

Placement Experience

3

From last year students get eligible for placements. As far as i know TCS has hired students and the main thing is students have to clear FACT for getting into SFSL and CFSL. The percentage of students getting placements just after bachelors is low. And talking about my plans i will be going for phd.

Fees and Financial Aid

For forensic science Yearly fees: 1,02,300/- Per semester: 51,150/- Students opting for (honours) degree in bachelors of forensic science have to study for 4 years where the last year that is the 4th year is dedicated to your project and research work. Students opting for regular degree in bachelors of forensic science have to study for 3 years and there last year is dedicated for research work. It is mandatory to atleast complete 2-3 internships provided by the college. Students have to complete there credit points per semester and students failing to do so would not get their certificate of bachelors degree. Talking about the management, it is little poor. Faculty is not present in the class for some of the lectures. There is no prior notice for faculty not taking the class. The attendance here is a bigg issue The PUMIS here does'nt work properly. Inspite of being present teachers mark students absent that results in poor attendance and then you are in detention. The criteria here is 75% attendance for giving exam but they barely follow and college costs you money for every internship and every program and workshops which only the faculty teaches. Talking about the hostel it is not that good not that bad. Sometimes mess food is not edible. There are certain rules that should be followed like: 1. Only 2 gatepassess are allowed per month. Rectors would video call the parents before approving the gatepass. The hostel gates are closed till 9.30 pm. Breakfast timing is an issue. It starts from 6:30-8 but at 8 am you dont get proper meal. Lunch and dinner timing is still decent

Campus Life

4

This college is all about fests events Starting from ganesh chaturthi we have navratri, madhyam, dussehra, christmas, new year, projection, annual fest (dhoom) freshers etc etc. Ganesh chaturthi starts in the month of september Madhyam is held in september Navratri is held in september Dussehra is held in end september and starting of october Christmas is held in december New year is held in december Freshers are genrally held for 2 days and it is genrally held in november Projections are done in february

Hostel Facilities

4

Talking about the hostel i reside in shakuntala B which is 4 sharing and i live in AC room who's fees is 1,19,000/- The accomodation is little conjusted it is not as spacious as it should be. Rest of the thing is fine mess food can be better

Admission

I did apply to NFSU but before the day of exam i was sick so i couldnt give the exam Talking about the admission process of my college it is very easy you just have to enroll yourself i gave AIFSET and got into this college only thing was i had to run from one building to another which was exhausting.

Faculty

3

Faculty here is little unapprochable and they are not humble enough. They are not cooperative but few faculty memebers are very responsible and very cooperative. They are always down for help be it acdemics or be it personal life. But few facutly here are just intersted in knowing the gossip of students and targeting them later.

This college includes internal exams such as unit test ,assignments, practical exams and end semesters exams which help students to stayed focused on studying. There are less difficulties faced by students who attend lectures on regular basis.

Our college gives the best practical knowledge that will hepls us for the better for our future. There is needed some courses changes like, the more focus on practical based problem not for the theorical assets to the course. University have to decrease the exam level to pass the students.
