Course Curriculum Overview
Chemistry is a widely used subject for every purpose like research manufacturing and etc., By variety opportunity in this subject there are many competition in this field and specially organic chemistry has a scope for future development in any industries. The exam will be tough because of organic topics. Through this three years I have hard worked for understanding it and scoring in my exams.
Internships Opportunities
We are first batch for internship in our university new rules. Our college get internship to us form various industries like anthem biosciences. In internships we learnt about manufacturing, quality control, quality assurance like main works in the industries
Placement Experience
In mc college the placement facilities are quite low and only few companies will appear for placement. The final year students are eligible for campus placements. And my plan after getting degree is joining for M.Sc chemistry of two years course in Bangalore city University.
Fees and Financial Aid
I'm Javid M A , student of KLE Society S.Nijalingappa college. Im studying B.Sc chemistry of three years course and the admission process is direct without any councelling and I paid 32k every year as my admission fees The college also offers scholarship for centum achieved students for every semester of an amount of 1k per subject. There is no additional fees like lab, development, management fees. Total fees for three years is 64k and the examination fees is separate for every semester. We have to pay 1.2k for every semester for examination fees. The teachers are very kind and very friendly and helps us in academics and other works. Our principal is very kind about students facilities and he is the head of IQAC department for students welfare. College infrastructure are very good and campus looks piece and environment friendly campus and ragging is prohibited and strictly taken actions. Our chemistry department faculties are very good in their perspective knowledge about academics and others.
Campus Life
The campus is eco friendly and the lab,class rooms infrastructure is very good. They celebrate every festivals like ganesha chaturthi, sankranti, deepavali, and they conduct inter college competition. Once in a year they conduct sports day. They conduct election for student council members and overall the campus life is very good and feel peace.
Admission
I haven't applied for any colleges. The admission process is my college is direct admission process without any councelling process. The eligibility criteria is above 65% in previous education i.e 2nd year PU marks should be above 65%. So there any exams and cutoff for applying in my college for B.Sc course
Faculty
The faculties are very kind to students and they ask about students problems and sort out it under principal consultant. They helps us in academics problems and about our career and about job requirements. Bsc chemistry has totally eight theory papers through three years and eight practical papers. Total marks of 1200. The exam system is based as per the rules of Bengaluru City University and the marking scheme are by cgpa methods
