Architectural design studio was the only inspiration for me to choose Architecture, the subject deals with the applications of the ideas we have in our head to a practical form, our curriculum is based on the real world applications , we deal with construction, electricity, acoustics, water supply and sanitation, history, contemporary architecture, interior designing, landscaping, climatology etc which are all based on real world applications. Examinations happens when its almost the end of the syllabus so we usually dont face any difficulty appearing for it. The difficulty level of the Examination is easy to moderate for a student who pays attention in the classes, even if you listen in the class and memorize it and dont study afterwards you'll score good. It's that accurate.

I fall under general category for which I don't get any fee deduction under any scheme and as my parental annual income is more than 5lpa i don't receive any such scholarship. And as for tution fee it was 16000/- before and now they have added the convocation fee as 1700 and it increased to 17700/- for one semester and the hostel fee was 5300 before and now they charged 10600 without any information whether its for a single semester or annual fee for the hostel , the mess fee varies as we pay according to the amount we eat the meal price for a day is 100 it might increase to 150 this year. I needed a tution fee certificate which i couldn't get because of the management of the academic section, the processes are very poorly handeled here.

Xtasy is one of the biggest fest we have in CET and it usually falls in the month of January and February, and we have other tech fests as perception, engineers cup and a lot more. One need to make a library card to get access to the central library. The university is very sports oriented and it Promotes sports very often with various intra and inter college tournaments. There are multiple clubs for an individual to get into such as Zairza-musical club ,amuza-acting ,Tda-dance, civicon- civil architecture and planning, cetadel -literally ,inkvent- art and many more

We are given a bed a table and chair , shelves for the accommodation. There are 2 hostels for females and 2 for males in campus. The hostel i reside in is KCHR and it has a capacity of three people for a single room and there are 2 ceiling fans and 2 tube lights provided with 2 windows. There are 4 floors and its a G+3 , so each floor have 4 set of washroom blocks, consisting 4 toilet and 4 bathing space. As for the mess fooding its average. The cost of the accommodation in the hostel premise is 5300 for a single semester. And there are pgs and flats nearby for rental.

I've approached to piloo mody college of architecture, amity jaipur, swami vivekanand university jaipur for the architecture course and end up not getting into it ad it had a very high fee structure and i had very good JEE MAINS score for which I got into CET Bhubaneswar which was governmental organization making it a a plus point to get into it. For getting into CET Bhubaneswar/ODISHA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY AND RESEARCH in b.arch one need to appear in jee mains and get a good percentile above 80 to 95 for general and appear for NATA with a good score, the jee rank is only considered and after the results are out one need to fill up the OJEE forms to get into the college.

For architecture the faculties are very good and for 20 students there are 2 faculties for each sessional subject, and 1 for theory. There are more than 10 faculties in our branch, b.arch contains 5 year course for which there are 20 seats in each year, adding up makes it 100, and every teacher knows each and every student very well, they know the weakness and strength of the student. As for my favourites Asit ku. Rout sir , siddharth panigrahi sir are very knowledgeable and they teach us very gently, they plant very complicated terminologies very gently in our head and that makes our understanding more clear. They teach very difficult terms at very ease from breaking up the basics, and particularly these teachers are always ready to help out us. There are 2 semester examination odd and even and 2 midsems in a year. The examinations are easy if you go through the syllabus and the questions are from the syllabus only.
