The Wi-Fi is good. The labs have almost everything we need. The classrooms could be bigger. The hostel is fine but small. The students are friendly. The food is good. The washrooms are dirty. Overall, the infrastructure is fine but too old and requires renewalThe infrastructure of our college is very huge and attractive. Infrastructure in class includes tables and green board. Whole class is facilitated with fans and ventilated windows. Every floor has washrooms and drinking water supply. Hostel has many facilities like Wi-Fil mess, tables, garden etc. Hostel fees is affordable .Teachers are very friendly, highly qualified, and experienced. The teaching quality is excellent. The curriculum deals with industrial needs. The semester exams are challenging to the students and requires good amount of knowledge to crack it down.

Admission

There are no placement opportunities for students. We have found a job on our own. Many students go for further studies or change their fields. Some students join as helpers in small clinics around the college. There is no help provided by the college for internships eitherI choose this course here in Khalsa College because it is only provided there. The future is all around artificial intelligence and my course is also in AI . My college can improve the side subjects. There are more than 100 events in the college in a year which is quite huge number.

Placements: The placements of our college is pretty good. It's increasing every year for each department. For our department, they have enrolled more than 400 students in BCom alone, while it never exceeded 180 in previous sessions, so it will boost the placements also. On average, it's 60-65 percent placement rate. It also provides internships. Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is phenomenal. It's spread over 330 acres and is very developed. There are different canteens for different departments. The classrooms are ventilated. The building itself looks very beautiful (old money type). Each department has its own library, and the main library is one of the biggest in the state itself. Faculty: The curriculum of the course for our year is pretty easy and simple. However, the next year it will become more industry-oriented and professional in skill basis. The teachers don't go deep into the topic, but they are always available for help if you have any doubt anytime. So that's a plus point in our college. Other: The environment of college is very green. The people are very friendly. The security is also pretty functional.

The fact that you are able to decide your major is important if you wish to pursue research in a particular field of one of the sciences (physics, chemistry or biology), or mathematics, but if you are interested in interdisciplinary research, no major system of mohali is better.

Faculty: Teacher are highly efficient, all of them are from a great background. But teaching quality is something which varies from person to person. The course curriculum is very good but the semester time period is less so kind of little difficult and more semester stress. Placements: People find it on their own, and they go for Higher Studies like PhD and Post Doc etc. Infrastructure: Co-ed Hostel with full Wi-Fi support and for the first 2 years two students live together in single room and from 3rd year onwards they get separate single room. Mess system available, 3 mess you can eat in any of them on pay and eat basis. Health center is there, all the sports facilites and gym is also there.

No doubt IHM Bathinda is one the best college in terms of hotel management and also of the province of Punjab. One should be fortunate enough if he/she gets in here and get the preferred choice, rest all of us are polished by the college itself. Our college management is too strict about following the rules but ultimately it is good for the students. Faculty and environment you are getting in the college are also good for studies creating competitiveness among students.
