Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is well except that they are teaching biology and basic mechanics to 2nd year cse students. We have many different clubs where we can develop new skills.we have exams twice in every semester and many different tests which are conducted during classes.The exams here are not that difficult but the evaluation of the exam paper was way too harsh

Placement Experience

Form 3rd year you will be eligible for campus placement.there are many companies which visits here . The job offer were also good it's like one student may be getting 3 jobs if he is having potential.the highest package is about 35 lakhs per annum.which was made in 2023 year.about 80 percent of students are getting placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

When I have joined the college the yearly fees was about 180000 but now it has been increased to 220000.the hostel fees was also increased from 66000 to 90000 for 4 beded Ac room. The three beded room prices are even more .

Campus Life

We have our annual fest on February month which was a grand fest in our College and it is called Zygon. Through out the year we also have many different cultural activities.The library was very good which provides many kinds of books.The sports was very good for outdoor games and also we have well developed Ac gym in the college for hostel students.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel have many kinds of rooms like 4 beded non AC rooms,4 Beded Ac rooms,3 Beded Ac rooms and rooms with attached bathroom.the in time for hostel students inside the campus is 7:00 pm. Meal is average but they serve in proper quantity.

Hostel Fee: INR 66500 per year

Admission

The college is at a perfect location from hospital, airport, railway station and is near the city and also have a vibrant nature around.By compared to other colleges nearby it is one of the best in my choice.the addmission in the college was through jee mains and ojee for lateral entry students.

Faculty

The girls to boys ratio in case branch is about 7:3 but ece branch it is 6:4. The faculties are very good and cooperative . The faculties helps us in time of exam but they are very strict while evaluation of papers

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

KIIT:place where students chase their dreams.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards companies visit campus and recruit students for internship. This internship season goes upto entire 7th semester. Many companies like amazon Deloitte cognizant and many other startups visited the campus.highest package was 42lpa and average package for computer science was 9 lpa. Around 70 percent student got placed.i want to get a good job in a good company.

Placement Experience:

According to recent placement statistics, the highest package offered at the college is around ?9.2 LPA, while the average package is about ?4–4.5 LPA. In the 2024 placement session, about 682 students were placed out of 803 graduating students, which shows a strong placement performance. The median salary for many programs is around ?6.5 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Students after completing 6th semester are given chances to do internship and convert it to ppo A total of around 60 companies visited the campus last year. For core branches tata power ,jsw offers a lot of jobs in tech roles tcs capegemini and other service based companies hires. Also cisco hires via there hiring process. Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

From 6th semester onwards wards students are eligible for campus placement.it provides 100% placement guaranteed to the students who were eligible and sit for the placement drive. Big tech companies like ,amazon, samsung, Capgemini,minetree,infosis,adani wlvisit the campus. The highest package offered in 52 lpa The average package in KIIT is around 6-8lpa And the lowest package offered in 3 lpa. So overall you will have a nice exposure to tech and industrial space and can grab some decent placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are good but not great. Th overall performance of students getting placement from every branch course combined is more than seventy percent. But the percentage in branch to branch respective wise is different , as Computer science engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering have higher placement rates than any other courses. From Seventh semester students became eligible for sitting in placements. You can say from the start of Fourth year students sit in placements. Many companies visit and offer placements to our students but the big companies are TCS( Tata consultancy services) , Infosys, Adani Limited , Reliance Limited , Tata Power and Co.. The highest package offered to our branch course ( Electrical Engineering ) Is 13 LPA by Tata Power. The percentage of students getting placed by Electrical Engineering is pretty good and is 77%. Overall percentage of students from all branches is 72%. My plans after getting the degree is simple. I am preparing for placements and also for gate exam . I want to give myself a chance . I will try to get a big placement from a big company as I want . If that doesn't go according to my plan I will try to qualify gate exam and will do Masters in Technology in a. Higher Institute.
