College was good in some aspects and bad in some. Campus area was pretty good and inside the city. Canteen was good. But quality of education was not up to the mark considering it to be a technical college.

Course curriculum strictly needs to be updated. We were taught outdated technologies which got no use in current world. Coming from technical background, curriculum should focus on field and practical knowledge but our whole engineering was more focussed of writing theory paper and assignment. There were no practical knowledge given on current technology and no new ideas were discussed in lectures. I think there is a need to restructure our whole education system from the school to college as whole.

I remember only 2 companies( TCS and Infosys) which actually came to give us job in technical field. Other companies were just offering BPO and call center jobs. College does not provide internship. Students have to search for internship by themselves. Overall, there was lack of practical knowledge in our curriculum.

There were many events celebrated in our college like Tech fests and aptitude tests for all the students of college as well as for outsiders. Many events were organized like tressure hunt, robotics war competition, computer games competition ( need for speed, counter strike)

Fees structure was quite expensive but again as I studied in a private college of Madhya Pradesh, it was cheaper than other states like Maharashtra and southern states. I am a general category student and I used to pay 57000 rupees a year. OBC and SC ST students used to get rebate in fees.

Our college conducted an exam with collaboration with TCS which gave scholarship to those students who cleared the exam and they got personality development,skill development, technical skills development classes for free.

Sports tournament were organized at inter college level every year in various sports like football, cricket, basket ball, volleyball and sudents could take part in NCC too. Some workshops are organized regularly on various topics like technology and entrepreneurship.

There were no college hostel facility for boys. Boys students have to take rooms on rent near college and rooms were pretty decent and affordable. Girls used to get hostel facility and according to them infrastructure was basic and affordable.

Our senior group went for higher education in NITs by writing exam called GATE and some senior students opted for job in software companies like TCS and Infosys. Yeah they were helpful as they gave us choices and ideas of career we can opt for after graduation.

I gave Pre Engineering Test of Madhya Pradesh state through which a merit list is released and we have to give a preference order of all the state colleges with branch according to our choice. According to our marks scored in entrance exam, college and branch is alloted.

Faculties in our college were mostly the students who were pursuing M.tech in our college and very less faculty were experienced and qualified. Only our HOD were ex professors of eminent institute like IITs. I feel a college should focus on good faculty and staff rather than advertising about college all the time.
