Likes
- The lab equipments for most part although not perfect still gets the job done and overall importance for the practical experiments in each semester
- The student flexibility with allowing for almost any and every extra curricular activities or co curricular activities when approaching the faculty members
- The green nature of the campus, it's peaceful, quite and free to explore with trees and grass everywhere properly maintained by the responsible people
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the sectors in college could do some work as it is a really old college
- The hostel facilities and food quality from what I've heard from my co classmates is not great, including the bathroom facilities
- The overall time given for completion of syllabus of a sem is very minimal and often results in crunch time for both the staff and students alike
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is bit on the difficult side to complete within half a year, but with enough help from the facilities it is possible The teaching methods are mostly normal and nothing extraordinary but pretty good The exams itself isn't all that difficult and out of the system but the preparation time between one another could be challenging
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fee remains constant with either rs.4810 The tution fee for me rs.4810, admission fee rs.1006 and exam fee depending on the number of theory and practical papers present on that semester with rs.150 for a single theory paper and rs.200 for practical paper For other batchmates it is around rs.6000-rs.7000 Needy students of every category and gender have mutual as well as exclusive scholarship offers from both central and state government alike, i myself am not eligible for any but my classmates are benefitted from it
Campus Life
This is one aspect that my college Excells and fails at the same time. There isn't many activities that are compulsory for the students interaction and social status apart from a couple of minor events every year. But if the students come front and want to express themselves they can with various club and or social activities with just a simple permission from the heads of the departments.
Admission
The overall freedom of students in terms of expressing themselves without any caveats is one of the main reasons for choosing this college.. that along with the accessibility of the college location The admission process is fairly simple with going to the registered TFC centre and filling out an admission form and paying the fees directly to the main admin office in college
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is serviceable as the college doesn't hold all that much population in general. The approachablity of students to faculties vastly depends on person to person, in general it isn't difficult to express your worries or queries to any other staff if the one concerning the issue is not available either physically or emotionally. There are two internal exams and one external exam per semester with a sizeable amount of portions covered up untill that point being the syllabus for the said exams. Easy to follow, not super complicated
