MIET REVIEW - Strong Academics with Modernization

The course curriculum followed in MIET is of AKTU, Lucknow. Curriculum conatians various languages along with core subjects that allow you to work in corporate sector. One teaching method that can be improve is to allow first year student to join clubs and explore all the activities. Exams happens regularly which prepares you for your End semester university exams.

College provides internships in TCS , AICTE and many other companies with an average Stipend which allows student to gain experience and get more knowledge in the field they are willing to pursue. Placement head makes sure that every student must do an internship in their 4 year course.

Students are elgible for placements from their 5th semester. Several companies like AWS, Junglee games , TCS , Wipro, Delloite, Phenom etc comes regularly for recuritement. Average package given in campus placement is around 6-8 LPA along with highest package given is around 80-90 LPA. Around 90-95% students get placed every year.

For btech CSE you need to pay 1,17,000 fees for one year or two semesters. Now as you reach in your 2nd year or 3rd semester your fees for whole 2nd year(3rd and 4th semester) is 1,07,000 and same for upcoming semesters. Yes scholarships are also provided to students. Last year scholarship paid to general and OBC students was about 60,000 INR and for SC/ST it was about 1,00,000 INR. Some students who scored good in their JEE MAINS or 12th Board are given special discount in their college fees. All they need to pay somewhat about 25-30k as their per year fees.

Regarding events we have KOLAHAL as our main college annual fest which is of 3 days, in which it has DJ nights electro nights,, students showcase their talent etc. Along with it there happens dandiya nights in navratri.Every month has it's own fest

I was thinking to apply for other colleges like LPU, punjab and KIET, gaziabad but what makes me select MIET was that first it was close to my home which helps me to concentrate more on studies rather than other stuffs, also it is providing same or should I say better facilities and placement than these colleges.

The faculty ratio ranges to 1:30 depending on department. Some prof offers additional lectures and doubt solving classes. Faculty have deep knowledge of their respective subject. For instance there is a teacher name MONIKA MITTAL for maths in first year, she is like a boon for students weak in maths in first year. Some prof are there who don't pay much attention but it's okay. The internals are based on three major parts i.e Sessionals and Pre University Test.
