Course Curriculum Overview

Lawyers profession is very Nobel and good. The society needs good lawyers so I choose this course. This curriculum will help in my future and the internships provide by college is also helpful in future. The teaching methods are good but the materials provided by teachers is poor. The exams are very correct

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There is no stipend for internship because internship is the mandatory part in our law course. These internships are only for our career based growth. There are tasks in this course like assignment, seminar, viva etc..

Placement Experience

After the 10th semester that means end of the course we got placements in different law firms. Choosing students on the basis of their academic level and also the ranking. After this degree I'm going to write exams like judicial service and other law firms

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees per year is 14000/- students who are eligible for scholarship has no fees. This is an University campus so this is under control of government so the expenses are less and there is no extra fees. There is an yearly fees as PTA fund and also there is exam fees in semester wise.

Campus Life

There is lot of program that conducted by campus and also by department students union like moot court competition,secular fest and other campus fest. The technology provisions in classroom is very low. The extracurricular activities are very good.

Admission

I got admission in the campus of kannur University at thalassery school of legal studies. The admission process is through entrance so I got admission through entrance. Yes I didn't got government law colleges also based on entrances. The eligibility of the entrance is +2 examination. There is cutoff on the basis of ranking

Faculty

There are 63 students in my class and the faculties are limited. There are permanent and non permanent faculties. The exams are semester wise and exams are very correct and there are liberal valuation and there are internal exams before the main exam overall good in academics

Course Curriculum Overview:

The moot court competitions and debate competitions are conducted many times in a year which are very useful for a law student.I wish if there are more interested college competitions then it would be more useful.Usually there is a gap of six months between two exams and during that period students get enough time for preperation.

Placement Experience:

The college does have a placement program. It's mainly to companies which have a law department. I don't specifically know the companies but I've heard it offers great exposure. The companies include Technopark companies, UST etc. The package starts from 20000 per month and maybe above according to our profile. My personal loan after the couse is to practice law as an advocate and then go for the judgeship programe.

Government law College Thiruvananthapuram. The place you will learn law and life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the curriculum 3.5 out of 5 . The major con is that the curriculum in Government law College Thiruvananthapuram is solely made for litigation in the court . There is less scope for corporate level studies. Curriculum is up to date and I personally think that several other act should be added for real world application like insurance law , narcotics abkari act are not included. Exams are usually on time comparing to other universities in Kerala still it's not conducted nearly after the semester ends

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exams usually conducted in two parts as semester ways. But due to the current covid situationno exams has been conducted upto this date. I think some times they probably go for a online exam. Because in kerala the current situation is bad. In the whole India kerala is facing more challenges. The exams are more difficult to pass. The criterion for passing the exams are really hard. Probably the passing average is less compared to other colleges.

I choosed this college because it was near to my home so maybe one can say that i took it because of convinence but after studying there i understood that it was my best option like it's so good studying there. I applied to sirsyed college S. N college SES college but due to my less mark i didn't got admission there.
