Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The nature of the curriculum is very engaging and interesting so compelled me to choose this course. It prepares well for real world interaction between doctors and patient and simulates this experiences through clinical postings workshops medical camps etc There is a scope of improvement in areas of technical expect of education and teaching methods applied by faculties by enaging in more student interactions. The spacing between the exams is great providing ample amount of time to study learn and revise. The difficulty level is quite normal to easy and a hardworking student can easily pass the exam with flying colours.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees of Pacific Medical College and Hospital is 1500000 Tution fees 800000 Caution fees 500000 Registration fees 50000 Admission fees 100000 Lab fees 25000 Development fees 20000 My batchmates fees is also same as i mentioned above There is no merit seat as all seats are management wise

Campus Life

5

The annual cultural festivities occur around october known in our college as SPANDAN CULTURAL FESTIVAL where various activies and games are conducted and dj night is also held. Various festivals are celebrated in college especially Holi Ganesh Chaturthi etc. Our college provides library with vide range of book collection providing students with ocean of knowledge required to become a good doctor. Our classrooms are provided with good speakers projectors good ventilation providing an overall statisfying learning experience. Vide range od sports events and extracurricular activities takes place in college like cricket football basketball tournament where our college always secures 1st or 2nd rank There are student groups in our college which propagates issues to management and to conduct various events in the college.

Admission

Earliers i applied for GMERS gandhinagar in NRI quota but could not secure a seat that is why i opted for PMCH udaipur I did not make to other college because of my score in NEET UG that was lesser than the cut off required to get admission in other colleges. I got admission through state counselling in the third round when i applied for it through management quota. The eligibilty criteria is just clearing NEET UG The overall admission process is quite smooth with little to hassles.

Faculty

2:5 is the faculty to student ratio. Faculty to student relationship is great and the faculty is very approachable and helpful. The faculties of the subject i liked was that of Pharmacology Dr Amitabh Sir he is great in teaching and clearing the concepts Opthalmology faculty is also very good Anatomy ,ent, forensic medicine are the faculties i did not like because of the subject nature and this can be my personal opinion. In 1 year there are 4 internals and 1 professional university exam at the end of each year. Exams difficulty is quite normal to easy but it depends on how you studied. About quarter of the total strength of student fail each year but the numbers may vary. The new CBE course by NMC is very relevant to students and the college abides by that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the MBBS course curriculum as highly relevant and comprehensive. It covers essential subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and pathology in great detail. The curriculum also addresses a variety of specialties, providing a broad understanding of different areas of medicine. Overall, the course prepares students for the challenges of modern medical practices. The exams are conducted on the yearly basis which are conducted by university. Although internal exams are also conducted by the college which also helps in testing are knowledge and level of preparation.
