There is more scope for pharmacy in developing country like india .there are many departments such as pharmacology, pharmaceuticals, pharamacognosy , medicinal chemistry, the difficulty of subjects increase with increase in semester

Fees and Financial Aid

Myself veena im studing in the Oxford college of pharmacy affiliated to the rajiv gandhi university. The course im doing is Bpharm which is for 4yrs the overall fees is 6,25,000 for first year it is 2,50,000 the remaining 3yrs is 1,25,000 i have completed 2yrs years and paid 3,75,000 .During the examination time we have to pay examination fee for each subject 300 . There is scholarship such as state scholarships i had applied for scholarship a year back and didnt receive the money yet .

Campus Life

The classroom are big which can accommodate about 100 students the restroom facility is bad in our college .there is sports .the canteen facility is not that good the foods are bit expensive so the students opt to eat outside

Admission

The eligibility is one must complete there 2nd pu with 50% . The pass percentage in rajiv gandhi university is 50% in each subject .the theory paper is for 75 marks and the remaining 20 is internals .

Faculty

The faculty student relationship is good only with some teachers while it comes during examination time teachers are very helpfull the bpharm course is for 4 years and consists of 8 semester 2 semester per year each semester will b held within 6 months the overall pass percentage is between 60-70%

Interview Experience

There was no interview for the admissions . I just paid the admissions fee in the management and jouned the classes. I wish it would be better if interview was there before the admissions because it gets to know about the student performance

Placement Experience:

After 8th semester we can get placements and company that have visited for placements is cipla, sun pharma, amazon india, lupin and many others. Placement Experience:

The placement provided by the college is not that much fair. But after we complete our 8th semester we can go for internship for 1 month . I 5th semester there will be industrial visit. And average package is around 3.5 lakhs And over 80% of student will be placed. My future plan is to go to abroad and work in pharmaceutical industry
