College

Our college is more focused towards extra curricular activities. There are a Lot of seminars and workshop being conducted in the college. Placement classes are also conducted in all the semester for improving communication and general knowledge.

There are a lot of courses available in the college. Arts students course is of 3 years consisting of 6 semesters. Each semester is conducted in a period of 6 months. Viva exam is also conducted to improve the students speaking ability.

Recruitment starts from 3rd year onwards and intership from 2nd year. Since I am a 1st year student I am not vey sure about the stipend. Although almost all of my seniors have been placed in various good companies. There are lot of job opportunities in all the fields.

All the south Indian functions are celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm in our college. Various cultural events are also conducted by different clubs. Celebrities are also invited for the functions. Farewell for the outgoing students is celebrated very well by the juniors and the faculty members for their future success.

There are two shifts available in our college. Morning and evening. The fees is a little high for the morning shift compared to the evening shift. But if the fees is compared to the other colleges in coimbatore, the fees in ramakrishna is very feasible.

Scholarship is provided to the students those who have won awards in academics . Also students from backward caste are provided scholarships upto a particular limit. The fees is not high so paying it in 6 semesters is not that hard.

Our college is famous for the cricket team. We have won various awards in sports and extra curricular activities. I as a commerce student don't have lab activities but for the science students there are well versed lab activities being conducted.

I havrnot opted for hostel but my friends have. There is one room for 4 students, consisting of 4 beds and shelfs. There is a common bathroom for all the students. Tue fees for hostel is a lit high compared to the facilities. The food is not that good but not that bad also.

The senior students are always helpfull in any kind of activity. Whenever we have any douts related to the academics they are always helpful. The alumni students also visit the college to encourage the students.

There are high graduated faculty in my college. Although some lack in proper English but the way they teach is excaptional. All the facultys are friendly and supportive towards academics. On duty is also provided by thr teachers for extra studies or any other activities.
