Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I opted for the course as it is related to the computer science field. It helps in learning DSA, OOPS, DBMS, and many more. Software like C++, JAVA, Oracle, etc. The course however isn't enough for us to sit in placement various new teaching methods must be included in this course, the new technologies which are being developed right now. The end Sems are mostly after 4-5 months when the semester begins. The difficulty is not that simple but not that hard.

Internships Opportunities

3

There aren't many paid internships that you can get from college but a few like from admission cell which usually has a stipend of 7k per month and is offered for 3 months. Rest we have summer internship training programming where experts from various coding institute teach students and assign them projects according to their field of interest. These trainings are during college hours. These sessions are valuable for those who want to learn in those fields like web development, and machine learning. Languages like C++, Python, etc. These courses are offered for 15 days in the 2nd sem and 45 days in the 4th sem. At the end of these sessions, students are given projects to be done, and if someone out done the projects he or she may be selected for a paid internship.

Placement Experience

3.5

After 6 Semesters students are eligible for campus placement. After 6 sem CRT(campus recruitment training) is organized for students who wish to take placement from campus. Students are divided into 2 categories Offset and Inset. Offsets are for those who still have ongoing back. Various companies visit our campus like HP, and Dell, and mass recruiters like Accenture, TCS, and many more. Until last year the highest package was 52 lpa (Microsoft) and the average was 4 lpa. 90% of students get placed, and the rest don't apply for placement or prepare for higher study. I plan to get the job experience and then open a business.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year-wise fee is 92,000. The caution money is around 6000. There are scholarship schemes also which are 10-15%. The fee for tws students is 7000 for 4 years. The fee keeps increasing yearly since the campus is upgrading and new labs and various other facilities are being provided.

Campus Life

4.5

The Renaissance, the TECHNO-CULTURAL fest of JECRC College, organized for 3 days including various activities and having more than 190+ college participants. The Renaissance was mostly organized in month of mid-March. More than 200+ events are organized in it including technical competitions, cultural competitions, debates ,etc. It also has celebrity night on day 3. Celebrities like Parmish Verma, Milind Gadagkar, Arjun Kanungo performed in renaissance. Standup comedian like Ravi Gupta, and Harsh Gujral also performed in Renaissance. The newly renovated Library spans more 12,000 sq ft and has a house with60 60-sea seminar halls, an open area for 200 students, and A 35-seat e-library. The classrooms still need upgrades no digital learning in classrooms. Sports tournaments are organized every year where more than 50+ colleges take part to compete. Various clubs are there for every interest like photography, dancing, singing, acting, and a student development cell to cater to these needs

Admission

I had given my JEE mains but didn't score enough to get a NIT or Qualify for JEE Advance. I then applied to various private institutes like UPES, Manipal, SRM, VIT. I got selected for all these institute but then realized that after the fees, calculating the approx cost of living there and all the expenses it wasn't suitable to pay that much money. I then filled REAP form which is for all the colleges in Rajasthan which are affiliated with Rajasthan Technical University. I have filled colleges like SKIT, JECRC, Arya, and more. After I got my ranks according to JEE scores I was allotted JECRC ECE branch. I could've applied for an upward moment and easily would've gotten SKIT cs branch. But I chose JECRC over SKIT as: 1.JECRC has better coding culture. 2. JECRC has better startup culture. 3. The fest and the cultural societies of JECRC are far better than SKIT 4. NO uniform in Jecrc. The eligibility to get admission is either Direct admission based on board percentage or Reap(JEE-based)

Faculty

3.5

The faculty changes after 1st year and then the students are allotted to their respective branch faculty. The faculty-to-student ratio for a particular department is about 20 to 80. Few faculties are very helpful and understandable. In each Semester first there are 2 MTT's or insems. These MTT are of 50 marks and 1 hour 30 min durations. These paper and generally PYQ's and are easy if we do PYQ's. After these MTT we have main end sem paper which we need to give in an exam center allocated by RTU.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are average but improving. Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester. A few companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture (off-campus support), Capgemini, and some local Jaipur-based IT firms visit the campus. Most offers are for software trainee, support, testing, or analyst roles. The average package is around 3–4 LPA, while the highest package goes up to 8–10 LPA (mostly off-campus or through exceptional performance). Around 60–70% students get placed through campus or combined on/off-campus efforts.
