An Honest Review of My college experience

I decided to do these course as I thought it would be a good decision to go in the field of information technology. I do not regret choosing these course as I have an industry specialization so I'm quite happy with my faculties as they are from upgrad. I like there way of teaching and the friendly nature that they have and not only then but other college faculty is also good and supportive. They always keep motivating and guiding us which helps us a lot . CRT is something which is provided by the university and is really helpful for facing the real world. If we talk about improvements then I think they should give or teach students to create project's or something that is related to real world so that the students can get prepared for future and can get placement easily.

I am in third semester but i didn't got any internship. I think for internships its good to apply off campus as you can not depend on campus for internships and all. Companies do not visit to you in your third semester so it's better to visit them by yourself. I'm making some projects by my own to get internship and not depending on college. Companies will come by 5th semst6and then only we will get the opportunity to get internship.

The placements are quite good , you will get many companies but at the end it depends on yourself that whether you try or not to get it. If you will do hardwork you will get placement easily but if you do not then you will not be able to do anything. If I don't get on campus placement I will try for off campus which is a good option. For 5th and 7th semester students become eligible to get placement.

For students, there are many scholarships available like first one is for students who scored more than 75 in there last exam get scholarship of upto 15 to 20% . Also there are other scholarships like for students who are raised by single parents or the one whose parents are in services get scholarship of 5%.

The first and the biggest event is just rhythm which is a cultural fest. Wonders of words, a literary fest, ju innov8 which is technical event, hu Verve for sport's event. There are many clubs and committees in university such as qdc , socialz , maverick etc. The books which are available in libraries are of different types. There are all types of books available in our library like journals, novels, subjects related books etc.

Hostel facility is like ok ok only. You get the single room which is good and get options like ac or non AC , three seater or four seater. In rooms you'll get one almirah, one study table, one bed and washrooms. There is one flat and four rooms per flat and two washrooms per flat. Get registration done according to what kind of room you want they will tell you the fee structure and pay at the account office. The meal is not very good to be honest , the breakfast and snacks are quite good but dinner and lunch is quite boring and is tough to eat. But once you'll get habit you'll eat it . Menu changes every week and sometimes they do make good food tbh. If I would have gone for a room or pg then it would be a bad decision as the area idls not at all good for leaving outside. These is an industrial area where you cannot leave easily so I think hostel is an good option.

I chose these college as it is not at very long distance from my hometown. Also I like these city jaipur and other colleges I've seen were far away from my place. Another reason for choosing these university is its fee structure which is very better than many other colleges and also the placement ratio which is also good from big universities like Manipal or poornima university.

Here are two semesters per year and in each semester you will have to give two insems and one final sem. Insems are of 40 marks which are quite easy to clear and you can easily get pass of you read assignments given by teachers carefully. Another one is final sem which is of 100 marks and is not so easy but can get cleared of you study well.

There are two gyms one in boys hostels and another one ehn girl's hostel. We have a huge cafeteria in which you will get dominos, moti Mahal , chai garam, burger singh, the divine dosa, the waffle co. etc . Cafeteria remains open till 10 PM everyday. There are two libraries one for law students and another for other departments among which one gets close at 4 whereas another one gets close at around 8 PM. You'll also get a Branch of NBC in our college inside an engineering block. The hostel timings are : fir girl's it gets closed at 9 PM whereas for boys at 10 PM. Till then you are free to roam in the full campus and yes it's safe for everyone. Famous Hangout places are central lawn and cafeteria.
