My college

It is expensive in every which way for the middle class people. But the standard of education is higher than that of any other colleges in our district, Trichy. It is safer for girls and boys alike. The environment is student friendly. And one has to put in one's own effort to make it big.

Counselling

The course is as same as any other college affiliated with Anna university with various elective subjects that are available to the liking of the institution which in this case is my college. The course went on for 8 semesters with unit tests conducted biweekly or monthly depending upon the term days. Then after a period of 6 months, semester exams are conducted. This system is followed until the end of the 8th semester with the regulations for affiliated institutions set by the university.

My college didn't realize that the internship was not supported when I was attending. But it is supported and encouraged in recent times since this could potentially lead to permanent job placements. The overall placement opportunities are vast.

Cultural - during which multiple cultural events are held in the presence of special guests. Sports day - during which multiple sportive events are held in the presence of special guests. Annual day - during which multiple cultural events are held in the presence of special guests.

It is feasible if the student was in the counseling category. The management category is quite expensive. But the line between them was already blurring when I attended. In summation, it is a bit expensive for middle class people.

The Merit scholarship is unheard of in this institution. The scholarships can be availed only on the basis of community which proved inappropriate to the upper class but economically backward people. Since the law to make reservations for the people belonging to that category has been passed, this issue is expected to be resolved soon.

Everything's good as it should be. There are multiple clubs present that encourage students' participation. They do a good job of exposing the students to new things such as event culture and so on.

The hostel infrastructure is alright and growing every day much like the college's infrastructure. Its fee structure is similar to the college fee structure which in and of itself is a bit expensive. In summation, it is a bit expensive for middle class people.

There is no such thing as the alumni network as far as I know. But the seniors indeed are helpful. The same is not the case for all individuals. To each his own. But in most of the cases, they guide you along with various situations, if asked.

The senior staff such as the Department heads are quite experienced whereas the staff that takes the classes vary from inexperienced to moderately experienced. They did their best in taking classes with illustrations and presentations.
