Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

See Being a student from rural area, choosing this course was just an easy task for me on the basis of selection between two subjects that is Mathematics and Biology. So first step towards this course was taken after my 10th by choosing Biology instead of Mathematics. After that among different courses that i can pursue as a Biology student, MBBS needs lot of hard work and it pay the respect in return. So this was the reason. To be honest, MBBS student should be given more clinical exposure by reducing their hectic theory classes timing. The syllabus should be reduced and exposure in clinics should be enhanced.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

College itself allow 1 year of internship in the attached hospital. Stipend is quite good which is around 20000 per month. During internship there is exposure to clinics and yeah some case handling as well.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

During the time of admission For session 2021-22 Admission fee : 100 Tution fee : 6000 Hostel Rent : 200 Micro fee : 15 Total = 6315 Miscellaneous Fee = 3025 ( includes Caution Money, Examination fee, Energy fee, Others ) Hostel Maintenence fee = 12000 Furniture security = 5000 Then after for every year Tution fee = 6000 Micro fee = 15 Hostel Rent = 200 Miscellaneous Fee = 2025 Hostel Maintenence = 12000

Campus Life

1.5

If I'm talking about extracurricular activities, I'm quite unsatisfied. Literally there is only College foundation day that held once in a year in February. The fest include cultural program from students of College only and some prize distribution. There is a playground in hostel campus which is fulled with water for 6 months and by hardwork of students after 6 months somehow those water go out of the playground and we get game time for around 3-4 months. Even the city is not much urbanised so nothing to visit, one movie theatre, just 2-3 restaurants. There is 2 student run social groups but they are unable to held any program regarding their theme in lack of funding and sponsorship.

Hostel Facilities

2

Harder to say and hardest to review the first visit to my hostel that administration has alloted me. Room having lot of holes and fallen ceiling, and overall building reminding me of something in a horror film. But living anywhere with friends is quite memorable and surely too easy. So yeah we did. But every facility regarding to hostel is quite poor except the fee.

Admission

I applied for around 20 colleges some from my own state Bihar and some other renowned medical colleges. Surely the admission process of these colleges are based on marks and rank acquired in NEET exam. I got DMCH in 2nd round of Bihar State counseling. DMCH is an old college having lot of patient exposure and less distant from my home district. So these were the point of concern while choosing DMCH among the colleges I'm getting on my Marks.

Faculty

3.5

The Academic environment is worst here. See Professor will permit you to ask doubts but how you will ask if you are not getting a single word of his lecture. Surely 90% of students are attending lecture for attendance and therefore no one value the knowledge of the Professor and surely no one is interested in asking doubts from Professor. There are lot of Professor in the list pasted on the wall of Department but we saw only 2-3 during lectures and 5-6 during exams. Being a student of that 90% category i.e. interested only in attendance, i like faculty who is quite funny in his own way so till now it's DR. S.K. KARN faculty of Embryology. Talking about the faculties i don't like is someone who is totally strict with students, no flexibility in entry time of class, no proxy, and over all nothing. So Being an mbbs student, it would be quite inappropriate if i don't mention exams. Yep in our college we have 3 internals and then University exam in a year.

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

Doing MBBS and becoming a doctor is still one the noblest profession in our society. Mbbs is good but hectic. Like inspite of coming to college you have to study very hard . Even after 8 am to 4 pm classes practical etc you have to study after going from college. It is very hectic and you can't escape from studying because we have to save life of people. And saving lives is not an easy job. Every chapter every subject is important. It's nice and interesting to study but sometimes one can feel low because of the hectic schedule a med student has . Overall you have to study and you will also get time to enjoy when there is no exam or semester. It's fun . it's interesting. It's everything. Consistency in study matters .

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a medical college, it always has an environment of focus and consciousness. I have chosen MBBS because I want to be a focused student in my life. I want a disciplined life, which is also a beauty of this course. MBBS develops you as a sincere - sensible and soft personality. In each department of our college, there are 3 to 4 teaching and non-teaching staff and our batch strength is of 170 students and there are totally more than 15 departments in MBBS course, so now you have an idea about the faculty Nad student ratio of our college. Faculty members are excellent in every department of our college be it the Undergraduate department or postgraduate department they are well qualified and renowned and they are great doctors too, they have wonderful art and experience of producing successful doctors. As a medical college, here 1st priority is study and assessment of students so exams are on time and obviously it has a difficult curriculum, which needs lots of hard work and dedication.
